Why did you put glitter on these insoles? I bought 2 packages and all 4 insoles are littered with glitter on the top and bottom. It's ridiculous!!

Sorry to hear that your insoles had glitter on them. Our Dr. Scholl's Float on Air insoles are not designed nor shipped with glitter. While are new packaging helps us to be Eco compliant, it creates the opportunity for things to fall on them in handling. Perhaps this occurred due to a stocking mishap. We apologize that this occurred. Your insoles can be washed on a delicate cycle to remove any glitter that had been placed on them. Do not put them in the dryer, just let them dry out naturally and they will perform just fine.

how wide is the insole at ball of foot?

It’s wide enough for my duck feet with bunions, very comfortable sneaker

How are these with water? Would they work for boat shoes?

We have never tested our Dr. Scholl's Float on Air Insoles in Boat shoes with exposure to water. And while our foams are water resistant, the surface of the insole may become slippery in water. You might be better off to use one of our Massaging Gel Insoles; Energizing Comfort uses our famous Massaging Gel and should survive occasional water very well.
