MAXXAIRMaxx Air 00-03810B Fan Dome, 6" Fan, Black

My original MaxxAir was leaking and I needed to replace it. This isn't that much more than a direct replacement and the fan is so much quieter than the original. The light is fantastic and makes using the mirror in my trailer so mu brighter and easier to use.

I installed the Maxxair dome into the side wall of my 29ft Four winds motor home. I have an Aims 3000 Watt inverter/charger/transfer switch under the motorhome dining area seat and it needed more ventilation to stop it switching off due to heat. This is my solution. I really wanted a fantastic fan that went in the side wall but this was the best I could find. I used a 6 1/4 inch hole saw which cut the hole like butter. The vent slotted in perfectly and I sealed it as laid out in the instructions . It definitely moves the air. Whether it will be enough for my inverter is stillTo be proved, but that would not be a fan issue. It is surprisingly quiet. Definitely a thumbs up on this one. The only downside is I ordered/paid for the pro version with the LED and received the standard version without the LED. I did not do a return due to time constraints (I needed to get this done before a family holiday). I am not happy that they continue to do this to customers after so many reviews pointing out the problem. It’s a switch and bait operation that’s needs to be addressed. At least do the right thing and provide the LED separately or a refund.

It runs for 3 mins and starts to make a noise .I’ve been passed around from American to uk and back. It’s been 1 month and no resolve

After purchasing this fan from another company when it was advertised as having the LED light, and it arrived with no light, it was very refreshing to see that these guys delivered exactly what was advertised. They also followed up promptly to email requests. The fan came on time well packaged and installation was pretty straightforward.

Recently installed this fan for my camper conversion and I love it!! Being able to exhaust heat makes big difference during hot summer months. Was not interested in cutting a 14x14 hole on the roof since we get tons of snow in winter here and was concerned about roof vent ruggedness. Even bought a second one as spare unit in case it ever gets hard to find. Shore power + fan in dedicated possible rear window placement = easy rollback in case of selling / buyer not into camper stuff ;-) ..Might install some sort of intensity control as it can be a bit noisy. ..Probably wont cauz I cannot tolerate any noise when going to bed anyways so Ill just leave it popped out for passive vent (+other window vents)
