did not come with an ice pack, paid a lot of $ for a strap

Easy. Fast. Simple. Does more than expected. Just stick with it. I encourage you to purchase more than one to work on multiple parts of your body at once. You can also use the gel packs with a cloth sack or sock to treat other areas of your body. This system along with the others I've purchased with Isavera has given me an opportunity to be at an ideal body mass and look the way I really want to. Consider in three months you can look and feel so very good! How many Years have you attempted and applied other methods, many of which were way more technical and regimented than this excellent method. JUST DO IT!

I love the idea of this product but it falls short. When I bought my first isavera product years ago I was blown away by the product and remember that I was told there was double chin solution in the works. When I saw this I immediately bought it and was so excited. After purchasing and using, I am sadly disappointed. The ice pack is not big enough for me and it does not stay cold long enough. Maybe 10 mins if that. Super disappointing cause I had really good results with the stomach product.

Cold part not big enough.

Too complicated to put on every time. It’s very uncomfortable and worst of all , the ice pack is not even cold after ten minutes so why should I be uncomfortable for more time? What was the point for all the effort of putting this complicated thing on?

I'm no stranger to chin sculpting devices - it's an insecurity of mine, so I've spent more than I'd like to admit on strengthening the visual appearance of my "weak chin" and minimizing any chin fat that will make my weak chin look even less pronounced. I liked the concept of this and wanted to give it a few weeks of use before rating. I followed the instructions, wore the contraption for an hour per day and though the ice pack didn't hold temp for that full hour, the compression worked about as well as my other compression chin bands. My one real knock was that it was uncomfortable to wear. Initially I thought I would do my usual night time routine and wear this in the hour just before bed while I read or surfed the internet. It was too uncomfortable to wear while lying down or in any position that put any pressure on the back of your head or neck - all the straps and stiff velcro meant that you could only wear it in a totally upright position. This meant I had to do it during the day, or earlier in my day at least so that my hair wouldn't be a complete mess, so it became inconvenient to do it consistently, but I managed to eventually find a time that worked out ok, though it was hard to get into a rhythm with it since it couldn't be incorporated easily into my night time or morning routine. It comes with a few other handy gadgets, a facial roller and calipers to measure your progress. I did like that it didn't put any pressure on the ears and didn't rely on the ears to hold everything into place and I could tighten or adjust it as needed, but some kind of softer hook and loop should be used so it's not so stiff and scratchy. Did I get permanent results? I'm not totally convinced - yet. I do see better results than I do with my regular v-line chin strap, and I think the ice pack means that those short-term results last longer than my straps without the ice pack. I think if they made this something you could comfortably wear overnight, it would be stellar, but as it is, it's cumbersome and tough to work into a consistent routine as instructed.

The ice pack for below the chin is so small (smaller than palm size) even when frozen, it does NOT produce enough cold to pass through the thick material.

Arrived with the seal broken, so I don't know if instructions should have been in the box that weren't there but this didn't come with any kind of guidance about how to actually put the strap thing on and honestly it is just so frustrating to just get on your head it was like a two person job and we still didn't know if it was on correctly or not at the end of it but were definitely frustrated. There are just so many velcro straps going all over the place, the velcro sticking to your clothes the whole time while you struggle with it... way too complicated for something you're supposed to use every other day it needs to be fast and easy or people are just not going to be bothered. For what this costs, it doesn't feel like you're getting much. The ice pack thing is a tiny little thing and it doesn't feel like it really covers a whole lot of your chin. My wife does like the roller thing it comes with, but it doesn't feel particularly good quality. I was planning on waiting before writing this review to see if it actually makes a difference (the fact they include the measuring device to "prove" it's doing something does tell me that it probably works) but my wife says she's not going to use it because it just takes too much effort to use and just got angry with it.

So we all have things that cause use to be self conscious, I have a double chin that I have always had that even tho everyone says they don't notice it it drives me insane. The isavera chin sculpt freezing kit is amazing. I have only been using this product for a month and so my review will mostly be based on my first impressions. Lets start with the packaging, the box came beautifully packaged, everything was organized nice and neatly and nothing was damaged. I was confused at first because I could not find the instructions. It took me a little under 30 minutes to find a code that my phone needs to scan to see the video instructions. I personally don't mind electronic instructions as that means less paper is used but for those who are not great with technology this may be a negative for you. The gel packet is extremely cold and as more time goes by i am able to wear it for a longer period of time. I only use it twice a week, i haven't seen any improvements but it's too early for that. The head strap is great because it is readjustable , i tried it out on some of my family members just to see how well it may fit others and all of them were able to wear it comfortably. I'm looking forward to the six month mark to see how well the product is working. I would recommend to anyone who is looking to try a product like this out. Side note: this does not replace regular exercise and a healthy diet!

Included in the box is - 1 battery powered quartz/jade massager (batteries not included) - 1 ice pack - 1 chin strap - 1 fat caliper - 1 printout on how the Isavera system works There's information on the printout and inside the box describing how freezing fat works. But there isn't much detail on using the actual product. There's no instruction manual other than outside the box that just instructs you to use it 3 times a week, an hour each time, with claims of it showing results as little as 3 weeks and full results in 3 months. It's difficult to use the fat caliper on yourself. The instructions along with the fat caliper describe measuring a different part of your body and not your chin. It's also not able to hold it's measurements so other than staring in the mirror trying to use the device and read off the measurements, you'll likely never get a proper reading once your remove it off your face. For this reason it feels like too much trouble to use. There are no instructions on using the quartz/jade massager (eg: duration, frequency, etc). It feels like it was included in the kit as added value without details on how this integrates with their system. Inserting a battery into the unit, it just vibrates the handle which slightly vibrates the massager. The product description mentioned a tape measure. This was not included in my kit and the kit was sealed when I received it. In terms of the gel pack, it did not look like the product pictures. It is a clear pouch with blue liquid and the isavera logo sticked over it. The edges of the pouch are sharp and not easy to insert into the chin strap. My freezer can easily freeze and create ice cubes but this gel pack did not freeze solid and was still in liquid form after days in my freezer. When placed inside the chin strap, I did not feel immense cold. It pales in comparison to walking outside during winter time as the cold air blows on your face. After the hour of use, the gel pack is no longer cold and is actually warm, so I question whether the gel pack is cold enough to freeze fat. In terms of the chin strap, it's a bit uncomfortable to put on. There are many Velcro straps and you need to layer 4 at the top of your head and 2 to your neck. Note that I've only used the kit for about a week, so there are currently no visible results. At the moment I'm unsure if this will work as claimed provided it doesn't feel nearly as cold on my chin, but I will update if it does. So for the time being, I feel this kit is a bit pricy and lacks clear instructions and feels like they took pieces from their other systems to include into this kit.

Okay, so this product it's a little bit difficult to use because it does not come with a very comprehensive instruction sheet. The basic premises of this item is that the fat cells under your chin will be reduced or eliminated due to freezing similar to the cool sculpt system. In order to get home results similar to the CoolSculpting system the cool pack should be frozen and applied for a fairly ample amount of time, also you have to be sure that the device is strapped very firmly to the underside of your chin. I believe you can have some results with this but you will have to be very diligent and commit to the routine in order to get long-term results. The device itself and a headgear are very well made, you will find that the cold pack is very small as to fit in the palm of your hand. I believe it is so small so that it will Target a specific area without causing undue discomfort because of the extreme cold. This set also came with a battery operated facial roller which provides a soothing massage with vibration. This kit also contained a fat calibration ruler to keep track of your results. It is a very professional system well presented and backed by medical research. The only question is whether or not the system can give you adequate results at home. I believe this is definitely worth a try and the next step to home facial treatments.
