Actual fun learning maths
Everyone in our household is, to be fair, a bit old for the targeted age group of Dice of Fury but we enjoyed it anyway.I actually got this as I thought it might improve my daughter's speed of maths, right before she takes GCSEs. I can see it working to some extent, which means for 7+ year olds this will be ideal, though younger players can get involved with help or if they are good at maths already. The idea is to follow a set of tasks the fastest and complete your row of dice before other players, usually by adding the dice up, getting all odd numbers etc. The instructions are basic so getting started is quite quick and players will soon pick the idea up on their first go.The pieces are well made and there's a good fun element to the game, so it's a great learning tool that makes learning fun. In that respect it hits the mark well.

Fun, fast paced and easy to learn.
I really enjoy playing this game with my two youngest boys (six and nine years). We have lots of board and puzzle games, but this has very quickly become a firm favourite. It’s fun, fast paced and easy to learn. Each player gets six dice and a holder. Three of your dice are coloured with white spots, and the other three are white with coloured spots. It’s simply a matter of turning over a challenge card and everyone frantically trying to get the correct dice combinations into their holder first. There are two sets of challenge cards, pink and blue. The blue cards are easier, and the pink cards are slightly harder. The challenge on the blue cards might be “all dice add up to eleven”, “all dice are even” or “coloured dice are fives & white dice are twos”. The winner keeps the challenge card, and the overall winner is the first person to collect ten cards.Even some of the easier challenges are a bit tricky for my six-year-old (year 1) but when we need to, we just slow things down a little and I help him out with some simple tips like “if all the dice need to add up to thirty-six, that means each dice needs to be a six”. I think this is a great family game with excellent presentation throughout. It encourages quick-thinking mental maths, but it’s so fun and fast paced that even the most reluctant young mathematician probably won’t notice!

Maths is fun?!? Who'd have thought it?
Got kids? Want to get them to learn without knowing? This is The Learning Resources Dice Of Fury Fast Paced Family Game, 109 pieces. This game is truly furious and mad. Basically each player takes a dice place card from a choice of 4, then takes 2 x sets of 3 dice one white, one coloured. Place the massive jumbo dice in the centre and challenge cards next to. Either Easy Blue / Hard Pink, or mix em up?Each player takes turn rolling the jumbo dice, the first player to roll the face (number 6) turns over a challenge card. Can be anything from all dice even to a pattern.Once turned each player has to furiously roll their dice, eliminating each correct dice and putting em on game card until the challenge is complete. First person to finish n grabs jumbo dice wins the card, first player to 10 cards wins game. Continue to next player clockwise.Playing the game is fun, we have to play easy as my youngest likes to get involved. But when she's in bed we get real ha.I like the way the dice store away in the jumbo dice, but they are a bit of a pain to get out after haha.Overall I'd thoroughly recommend this game, who'd have thought maths was this fun? Brilliant title too!

Great Fun, but think it’s too expensive
This game is great fun although noisy and frantic. It is ideal for anyone from the age of 7 and up, though is particularly useful to enable children to improve their maths skills. It is well made and a quality game, however I have 2 suggestions that would improve it… firstly it would be nice to have cups (or similar) to use to hold the dice to shake them and secondly I feel it is overpriced at £23.50 (price at time of review) and that if it were between £10 and £15 it would be much better value for money.Despite these minor points, it is a great addition to our games cupboard and is enjoyed by all the family, so I would recommend it.I hope that this review has been helpful to you in deciding whether this is the right product for you and your family.

Fun, fast-paced, but quite frustrating
Learning Resources Dice of FuryIf you're a family who loves to make learning fun, then this is the game for you. Up to four players can play this game, and the challenges are all maths. To get a challenge right, you have to keep rolling your dice until you get the right combination the challenge from the card calls for. After you get ten challenges correct, you're the winner! Even if you're not that good in math, it's up to your dice roll if you will win, so there's luck on your side - or not! That's what makes it all exciting! For families with younger children, you can take a moment to pause before the furious dice rolling can start. All could be fair with the proper rules! I recommend this game!

Fun game, everyone is in a rush to roll dices
In this game, it is designed for kids age 7+ but I would actually say 5 is also good enough. It is for 2-4 players, very good for family game night. In the set, you have 24 dices, 80 challenge cards, 4 dice holder and one jumbo furious dice. The game is not hard to play, just flip out one of the challenge card and roll the dices crazily and quickly to see who achieved the pattern on the challenge card the fastest to grab the jumbo furious dice. The winner will be one who win 10 times cumulatively. Not a hard game but really fun and exciting.
