This battery was a perfect fit for my ROG ASUS laptop. You must dismantle the laptop to install this battery. I installed this battery one afternoon . Though I was trying to be delicate and careful, I inadvertently pulled both antenna wires off of the wifi card. I guess I damaged the antenna wires during this process because the wires would not snap back and stay on the terminals from which they came. I subsequently ordered new antennas (there are two) and a new wifi card ( I was unsure which was the cause of the securing problem, or both). At a later date, I installed the antennas and a new wifi card, and all is working. My advice to you is be careful with the antenna wires, they are delicate. The new battery is working great and my laptop now has the battery life that it had when it was new.

This battery is great! A fraction of the cost of an OEM battery, and performs just as well if not better. This battery brought new life to my laptop and I am astonished at how long it holds a charge, I think even a bit longer than the OEM battery. Be warned, however, this battery install is not for the faint of heart. However this is not the fault of BatteryMon, but rather the laptop manufacturer. There are some great videos on youtube if you wish to undertake this challenge, and if you do I couldn't recommend this battery more!

I have a 3 year old ASUS ROG G751JT and the battery was almost dead, would only run for about 10 minutes and would never charge beyond 70%. I followed a UTube video showing how to replace the battery. Many screws and a bit fiddly but was able to do the replacement in about 1 hour. I then plugged in the charger and turned the computer on. The battery showed 74% charge and after about 1 hour it had charged up to 100%. I then ran the computer on battery for about 1 hour and it still showed about 75% available which is about what the computer showed when new.. All in all I'm very satisfied with the new battery, I just hope it lasts for a couple years. Changing my rating from 5 to 1: Like others have reported, the battery has stopped working in my ASUS ROG Laptop after only a couple weeks. It shows 96% charged but the laptop will not even power up on battery now and if I remove the charger while running, the laptop immediately shuts off. Not sure what's going on, perhaps the battery simply will not produce the necessary current to run the laptop although the battery status indicates 96% charged. I imagine the battery status indication is derived from battery voltage only and does not indicate whether the battery can provide the required current to run the laptop. Very disappointed especially after the hassle of replacing the battery not to mention the money wasted.

The seller seemed very nice, and was prompt to thank me for the order, and even delivered a nice little maintenance sheet for the battery itself. It's a bit of a process, but I managed to replace the battery in my Asus RoG g751j, and the new battery booted up the computer just fine. I can't rate a full 5 stars simply because I haven't worked with the battery for long enough to confirm if it will last, which is an incredibly important factor, of course, with non-oem batteries. Edit: A year later and the battery won't charge past 16%

Laptop: Asus Rog G751JT This battery was a perfect replacement for my Asus Rog. My battery lasts as long as when it was a new laptop and I seriously appreciate not being tethered / plugged in all the time. Replacing this battery is not the easiest of tasks, but anyone can do it. There are several good step-by-step videos online, just search for them. A few notes to make the replacement easier: 1. Make sure to use a proper size screw driver to avoid striping the screw heads. 2. When you take apart the back and keyboard sections, do so slowly and pay attention to the wires connected. If they come lose, easy to place back in proper slot. 3. Once the battery is in, before reassembling, have everything connected and turn laptop on. Check sound, keyboard backlighting etc. If everything is working as it should, then reassemble and fasten screws. I am very happy with this purchase so far. Will update my comment/review if anything changes.

[Update as for 09/21/20] Less than 10 cycles done, and the battery is already showing signs of wear. I will continue to monitor the situation, but I'm changing my star rating from 4 to 3, and my original recommendation to: "It might work better for you" [Original Review] This is the second 3rd party battery I buy for my G751J. With these 3rd party batteries, it is always hit and miss. With this particular battery everything seems to be working fine so far. Advertise 88Wh was not accurate. Mine came close to 82Wh, see the attach picture. I cant speak about long term durability since I'm only at my 3rd cycle. One recommendation would be to do at least 3 full charge/discharge cycle when you first receive it. Installation on the ROG G751J is always a pain, just be patient. You don't need to remove the display, just be very careful with the clips on the back of the laptop that secure the battery in place. I'll update this review in a few months once the battery has gone through more cycles. So far, out of all the 3rd party batteries out there, I can RECOMMEND this one.
