Oh my gosh I should have done this ages ago! As a frequent loser-of-keys, this lock has changed my everything. I can set and change my entry code whenever I want, which has come in handy for safety reasons and for peace of mind. I don't need to carry or worry about a key at all. I also like the feature that allows you to enter any random numbers before and after your code to disguise your actual code, just in case someone is lurking and watching over your shoulder. This obscures your code by adding more opportunities for error and makes it a little tougher for someone with malicious intent to accurately decipher what your code actually is. It's not perfect, but it's another layer of challenge for anyone who might be trying to outsmart your system.I love the auto lock function, through which the door will lock itself again after you've come inside, so not only does this thing mean I don't have to carry a key with me, but also I don't have to remember to lock myself in when I get home! You can change the amount if time it waits before engaging the lock by itself.Just in case you need an alternative way of opening the lock, the RFID key tag thing is a nice non-key option that works quite well, too... Just wave the little tag in front of the lock briefly and the lock will disengage. Easy, fast, reliable. Still easier than a physical key.You can also unlock/lock the door using the app alone, which is kinda fun. The app isn't the sexiest but it's easy to figure out.Install was easy. Programming was easy. Looks sharp enough ...as far as locks go. ...I mean, how pretty are they? It's got a modern-looking design and it doesn't look cheap.I want to give this thing a goodnight kiss every night... That's how much I love it.

I put batteries in and tested this sucker out and it’s awesome. I love how it comes with the many options to have codes, a key, or a keycard. I can’t wait to put it on our doors when our house gets closer to being finished. The app is cool and works from far away as long as you have Bluetooth or WiFi in your home. So i like that you can lock it if you forgot. I also like how you can set up permanent or shorter lock codes incase someone is swinging by short term while you’re away. I would buy this product again 10/10. Easy setup.

Horrible product. To begin, the required app collects personal data even when the app is closed and there is no opt out option. The "privacy policy" claims that the laws where the manufacturer is apply to all privacy collection issues not the laws where there product user is located. BIG BIG RED FLAG. Then, the product was defective. The lock could not be secured well enough to prevent it from wiggling. The bolt device was smaller in this lock than the standardized lock I was replacing. The plate by the bolt was a bright silver - which looked odd with the bronzed color for the strike plate I already had an there was no repalacement option for the plate by the bolt. Then, I could not get the lock to function as needed. The app was horrible and would not accept the fob cards. I couldn't get a code to reliably program. On top of all that -- the lock started making a nonstop beeping sound about an hour after we installed the batteries and we could not get the lock to stop beeping. It was HORRIBLE. I have returned this lock and have concluded that I should never buy a cheap electronic gadget from a foreign maufacturer again. The privacy policy issues should have been enough to put it back in the box before going one step further- but I foolishly perservered to discover there was no redeeming quality to this lock. JUST SAY NO. If you want a smart lock, pick a well known standard brand with quality manufacturing and an app that isn't going to record your personal data without your permission.UPDATE 12 20 2021- customer service from this company have sent me 2 e-mail requests offering me Amazon gift cards if I remove my negative review. Although I appreciate a customer service department that cares about a customer's experience, I am disquieted by offers to provide compensation to me in the form of gift cards if I delete my review. Just thought I would share this additional information to those of you considering the reviews before making a purchase. Please ask yourself whether other customers who had a horrible experience were compensated for removing the negative review and whether the non-negative reviews you are reading accurately reflect customer experiences. I did not even consider this when I was making the purchase and reading the reviews.1 20 2022 - I am continuing to receive e-mails about this review. They are now titled in such a way that they seem to be coming from Amazon rather than the manufacturing company. They have also picked up an ominous quality about the need to act and delete the comment withing 48 hours to "avoid loss." They keep telling me that this is the last e-mail - and then they send more. Oh, and there is some nonsense in some of them about adopting kittens. SCARY TACTICS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!

Update #2 (11-13-2021): Turns out I had a glitchy unit and that's why it was finicky with locking via pressing the Checkmark button for 3 seconds. The seller was very quick to respond to my frustration and sent out a replacement. I just installed it and tested everything, it locks perfectly by pressing that button for 3 seconds. I'm changing my rating to 4 Stars because I appreciate a seller that works with you to offer a solution and send a working replacement. All that really needs to be worked on would be the issues concerning the user manual I spoke about in my previous update.Update: The instructions are not well comprehensible and detailed when it comes to troubleshooting, and knowing exactly what procedure to do to unlock it with just the Checkmark button key press for 3 seconds. I've only gotten it to lock for me once via that method. Any other attempt just had it do nothing or have it lock and unlock, followed by rapid beeping. The manual says nothing about this and what to do. I'm waiting to hear back from the seller regarding this matter but if the solution provided isn't viable, then I'm sending this back for a refund and getting a different one.I was a bit skeptical to purchase this as it only had two reviews, but I decided to bite the bullet and give it a shot. I'm glad I did as everything the reviews said and the product description video showed, it was a breeze to install. Thankfully, my original deadbolt was the standard measurement which meant I didn't have to adjust anything to get the lock to fit. It really is a true plug-and-play ordeal. The ONLY issue I had was that my original deadbolt mounting plate (the one that is part of the assembly) had curved edges whereas what this lock had was a rectangle. Because I didn't have a proper cutting tool with me at the time, I used my angle grinder to round out the corners of the striker plate. Problem solved. The kit comes with two sets of instructions (one a quick-guide, the other a comprehensive one) and both were very easy to follow along, two RFID cards, two keys, a bag of screws, and an extra bag of screws. The lock was installed with ease and everything bolted up perfectly. Getting the app to connect with the lock was painless and everything was straightforward. It's also nice to know that you can email the company and get a response quickly if you run into problems. The only issue I faced with the lock was that, when I first tested it out with the app, it would lock and then unlock. I tried again and it did the same. So, I had the app unlock first and then tried locking it. This time, everything worked as it should. I tested it a few more times and didn't have locking/unlocking problems after. I'm not sure how well the display will be able to handle direct sunlight almost constantly during the day, but I'm hoping it'll last for quite awhile with no issues of fading or distorting. Time will tell. Until then, I'm very pleased with this lock and if you're looking for a nice smart lock that isn't expensive, you can't really go wrong with this.

This is an excellent lock, works perfectly.There are two potential issues to keep an eye on: there is a toggle switch on the lower part of the indoor panel that is set for left or right opening doors, and in the app there is a setting called “Door Open Direction.” If you don’t set both of these correctly, the lock will appear to not be working correctly, i.e., won’t both open and lock consistently.It took me a good half hour to troubleshoot it, and I thought to save others from any frustration.
