High-quality craftsmanship!!
Honestly this one is a replacement because my first one was stolen!I’m pretty picky with pens and I’ve always wanted a well built bolt action pen, so I got one as a gift to myself, splurged on a nice one, and I was only more and more impressed with the quality. It writes really smooth, it’s nice and weighty, could be a downside if you like really light pens but I like the heft. The action is smooth and super satisfying to use, the clip is also nice and tight and well secured.I think one of my favorite things about this pen honestly is the machining, it came with an ink refill and it wasn’t until I was showing my cousin the pen that I was like “how do you even put this in?” It took me only a few minutes to figure out the tip unscrewed however the machining is so tight you can’t see the line! When it’s screwed on all the way it looks like one clean titanium tube! Incredible, definitely my favorite pen

Should have got the titanium one
I love this pen ! I use it all the time at work and with it being a bolt action I don't accidently activate it in my pocket and stab myself. However, working on a concrete floor, I have dropped it a few times and since I got the aluminum version, it has dented in at the tip. I was able to push it back out and the pen functions like it should, but I really should have gotten the titanium one. Writing is smooth, grip could be a little better, like I wish it had a few bumps or rings for improved grip as that would prevent dropping, but I manage.

made very very well
very good pen. i have my doubts about the 6AlV4 claim with the titanium option. it seems too heavy. it looks and feels like stainless steel. eventually i'll see what color it sparks but i don't want to mark it up because its so pretty. i love this pen and i carry it always. But when i do check... i'll make sure to update to my review and include pictures. stainless is nonmagnetic too so i don't want to hear it. Either way, it's great. i have purchased two additional pens for others . i don't ever write with anything else, and i do not let anyone touch it. get your own.

Love it!
I bought this pen because I wanted a machined pen that had a fidget factor to it. I wasn't thrilled with the look though, it appeared a bit plain. It sat on my desk and just did regular pen duty for awhile. Meanwhile I developed an interest in tactile pens and picked up a couple cheap ones on Amazon. Nice, but carrying them visibly in my shirt pocket generated comments and questions from friends and associates. More comments if someone needed to borrow it. I started carrying the Bastion instead. It wasn't exactly what I wanted but it has a good strong clip and feels solid in the hand even though it has a blah look to me. Then I realized this IS a tactile pen that 100% does not look like one. No more comments on what's in my pocket. The only comment I get if someone borrows it is 'heavy' or 'nice'. No self consciousness if I need to write in public. This pen has been in my pocket nearly everyday for two years. Honestly my favorite pen right now. The titanium is a great weight. It still has good heft but not so heavy to feel it while writing. I also have the Bastion mechanical pencil but in stainless. It's a little top heavy and fights me a bit to write with it. I think the titanium is a good balance of comfort and heft.

If you use a pen every day, carry something different than everyone else.
I think Amazon should have 1-10 rating system. This is a 4.5. The minus .5 is for the ink cartridge, and I know it is highly subjective. I love the design, the weight, the construction, and the quality of the pen. I sort of knew when I ordered it that I wouldn't like the ink cartridge, and ordered bold, black gel cartridges at the same time. Common ink cartridges are too smooth for my taste and I like to feel the resistance and friction against paper that I get with gel. I have used Pilot G-2's for as long as they have been around, and sort of hoped I could transplant their cartridges to this pen, but no. I found a suitable replacement, and it made this pen a 5 out of 5. Is it crazy to spend over $50 on a pen? Maybe, but I am a guy that likes to have unique items that are commonly carried every day.Ask me to empty my pockets on any given day, and you probably couldn't point to one thing that could be bought at your local CVS, Target, or grocery store...

Best Pen I have Bought!
Great Pen! I have had it for a year so far, and it seems just as good as when I got it. The design is stellar, and I love its minimalism. The size is great, and I have been continually replacing the ink, and have not experienced any problems with leakage.

Excellent pen, and made in the US
Just received the titanium version today, and so far am very impressed. Stylish, solid, and the barrel looks like a solid piece of metal…even with the removable end for refilling (no visible seams when screwed together).I almost ordered the stainless steel version, but opted for titanium due to the lighter weight. I’m glad that I did, as this is heavier in my hand than I’m used to. Having said that, I’ve used disposable plastic pens for many years (apples to oranges…or Volkswagens to Porsches).Time will tell I suppose, but I’m glad I made this purchase. And…it writes amazingly.
