Just built my second T-276 Totguard.. I'm excited
This is not my first ebike from this manufacturer. The fact that I bought the same exact bike 2 years later should tell you that it's an excellent product. Pretty much bulletproof. But, as it's the second one, I did insist on some upgrades right out of the box that I would FIRMLY recommend. Let's talk about it. BUY PLENTY OF FULLY METALLIC BRAKE PADS. AS IN 6 PAIRS. It's just as important if not more so, to be able to stop as it is to be able to ride. THORN RESISTANT INNER TUBES. Keep the stocks as emergency spares. Same goes for the tires. REPLACE THE STOCK TIRES WITH SCHWALBE TIRES. Just trust me, keep the stocks as spares, they're not terrible. BIG COMFORTABLE SADDLE. Don't skimp on the saddle, the stock one is ok but it's about comfort so you can ride longer and further. STEM RISER NECESSARY. The stock stem is very short. Very short. And last but not least at all, HIGH GRADE FIREARM LUBRICANT FOR THE BEARINGS AND MOVING PARTS. You'll get thousands more miles by adding a professional grade metal conditioner. That being said, you will end up with one of the most formidable, long lasting, quality made and reliable ebikes around. Here's what I have been through with my first T-276: ran it into a FedEx truck at medium speed; had a head-on collision with another bike at full speed; hit a sidewalk curb at full speed and broke my humerus in 3 places; and got hit standing still by another ebikes doing around 16 mph (that broke my headlight). And to this day, that original bike is running flawlessly with over 3000 miles on it, has gone through 2 sets of tires, and the only thing keeping it from being in perfect shape is a very slight and imperceptible warp to the front tire from hitting that curb. Otherwise, no worse for wear, literally. Oh, I did have to replace the charger but no biggie. I just wanted a new one. I remember searching Amazon trying to find an ebikes that would not be a lemon or a toy. How would I know where to start? It's exhausting. Take my advice and make the small upgrades, and rest assured that you made the best decision: these bikes are golden.

Worth it, would definitely buy it again
Worth the price, took the risk to buy this e-bike considering its announced specs are way better in comparison to others in the same price range. Its throttle only mode and pedal assistance modes are well designed, no hiccups or sudden/unexpected startles/accelerations. It is gentle when needed but may be more aggressive, though still safe, if you go full throttle. It came around 90% assembled, and was relatively easy to finish it, took me less than an hour to do it although the instructions aren't that clear. I may be biased because a year ago I had to assemble a bike that was like 50% assembled. Brakes were perfect aligned, no adjustments were required. Please note that 2 sets of nuts&bolts were missing (1 for the kickstand and 1 for the front chain guard/guide). It fitted me well (6ft2/200lbs), a good choice both for keeping you fit/healthy as well as for the days you are feeling tired or are in a hurry and don't want to get (much) sweat. Commuted on it for a week, 90% of the time at 20ish mph cruising speed some times throttling only, odometer close to 20 miles now. Battery is removable and had no issues with it or the charger. As this is my first e-bike, once assembled I would take a quick ride just to test-drive it. I was expecting to do this for no more than 5 minutes, since it was a cold night outside and I wasn't feeling like changing my clothes just for that, turns out I rode it for like half an hour throughout the neighborhood as it provided me such a nice first e-ride experience. Also rode it with the engine turned off, bicycle is not heavy at all. Actually I would add a few more gears to it, since even the hardest one was still easy. Maybe this is the standard design for safety, so you don't go too fast. Though I am used to have this issue with most bikes. I would definitely buy it again based on my first week commuting on it, and see that soon e-bikes will be the standard given how practical it is. Will update this comment in a few weeks.

Seems like a great bike but came damaged
The bike came out of the box with broken tabs on the battery holder. Bike functions but battery is not secure. Sent message to seller, awaiting answer. I'd be happy with just a replacement part. *Update* Spoke with seller and they are sending a new part. Will update once it is received. *Update* Part arrived and was installed. Good communication from the seller, updated me through the process. Other than that bike is pretty awesome. Went together easily. Some of the components feel a little chintzy i.e. the gear shifter levers, but they all function out of the box. Has plenty of power, I am 6'2" 220lbs, and had no problem getting to top speed of 21.8mph. I feel the frame may be a little small for me, but it is still comfortable so far, I've only ridden 2 miles. But planning on commuting 6 miles round trip. Will update after a bit. 100 mile update. So I've got 100 miles in. Still happy with the bike. I've left it at 4 stars, because while it operates well there are a couple shortcomings. I've replaced the grips with softer the originals were pretty hard and uncomfortable. Not a major issue. The only problem is the front fork. Under hard braking it shudders and there is quite a lot of flex. It's livable but not confidence inspiring. Will most likely be replacing. Also the brakes are fairly noisy. Other than that I am really enjoying the bike. The seat is pretty good for an out of the box. I've been riding 6 miles a day with no soreness.
