Beware
Beware ... It came with an American plug. So any money I saved has now been spent on another adaptor!!!

Loving this after switching from a Dyson. Caveat - I bought it to quickly vacuum cat hair and cat litter, not for heavy carpet cleaning. (Owned for 1 month as of Jan 2025) Battery life seems good enough to do our 850 square foot apartment. Battery charges quickly LOVE the light that shows whether there is still some dirt left and prompts me to sweep over it again. The folding feature has been nice a few times when I've gone under the bed and couch Nice that the sucked in cat litter and crumbs don't fall back out of vac when I leave it standing against the wall Emptying it is easier and less disgusting than my previous stick vac. My hair is much less likely to tangle around the filter, so it empties without me having to stick a (gloved) hand in to pull out the dirt! Suction isn't as strong as the Dyson, but it's great for picking up light things on the first pass and gets heavier items on the second or third pass. Bonus, my husband is vacuuming larger areas, because the light spotlights that there is a bit more dirt!

Kenmore DS4065 perfect for small Apartment/Dorm rooms. I recently moved to a small apartment: Small bathroom, large closet, medium living room with a large standard area rug that is not “fluffy” if you will, just flat. I needed something easy to use. I have a small black cat who mildly sheds. The new place is dusty. I am on the bottom floor of a big, old house. Dust comes up from the vents. I did a lot of research on smaller cordless vacuum cleaners. I am very happy I purchased this. It is perfect and I hope for you as well if you have a small apartment/dorm room. I’m 5 foot 5. Unboxing was easy. The assembly was easy. The instructions were easy to read. I charged the unit. Later that night I used it for the first time. This product is very lightweight, maneuverable; the swivel is very good on this one, small enough to fit in some smaller spaces. The front cleaning head is about 10-12 inches wide, 2 inches thick (think Swiffer length left to right, if not a bit shorter). I used the product first on low power mode and that worked great for the first time. Very impressed. The second time I used it on higher power. Wow! Even better! I have the pics to show you what the results are for about a 10 minute cleaning. The unity is pretty quiet. The bin that collects is in a great spot. The unit does this hurricane action in the receptacle which, when turned off shows the dirt, fur, etc in a ball. (See pics) I really recommend this product for small places. I can’t write about large rugs or large places in general, just my small thin area rug that my cat lays on all the time and my small place. I mentioned my height. This unit is perfect for me. Holding it when cleaning, the handle is between my stomach and chest. Pros: Pretty much everything. Small, light, eac.sy to dump contents, easy to clean. Stackable. Quiet. Cons: I don’t have any so far. I will update at a later date if something goes wrong, etc

I needed a vacuum that had good enough suction and a sealed canister that keeps it in because I have asthma and "dust allergy". I also have pets that shed a lot of hair. The Kenmore Elite CSV Max is a powerful cordless vacuum that received many positive feedback by reviewers and testers at the sub-$200. It has a 250W brushless motor with 17kpa of suction. The suction is quite good on low setting but much better on high and the large sealed canister contains all the dust, hairs and other fine particles inside the machine. The stick can also fold in half so you can reach under hard to reach furniture like beds. The vacuum's brush is smaller, more compact making it easy to vacuum steps on stairs. The weak point of this vacuum is the short lifespan of a fully charged battery on high setting (it wont last more than around 10 minutes). This is typical of cordless battery vacs. If you live in a house this isn't what you're looking for (get a corded stick vacuum instead), if you live in an small, single bedroom apartment or a studio the Kenmore Elite CSV Max will do just the trick.

Ordered the vacuum on a whim. It arrived 2 days later and was all it promised to be. We charged it once and then the charger cord died and wouldn’t hold a charge (verified by an electrician). This was within 3 weeks of having the vacuum. Tech support is sending me a new cord, but it’s back-ordered so they don’t know when it will be here and the recommended just buying a new cord off Amazon. So my husband did - except it never came (was marked as delivered). So I have a vacuum that I like - but I can’t use it now because I can’t charge it until we get another cord. For those who say the suction isn’t great - it isn’t. But the vacuum has 2 levels of suction. If you press the button on the top when it’s on, you get the high level of suction. It does not replace my big Dyson, but not having to pull my Dyson out as much is nice. And my ten year old will use this cordless one because it is lighter and quieter. It’s great for the cobwebs on the ceiling and ceiling fans! So as long as you can charge it, run and clean away!

**UPDATE** after about 7 months this thing is done- it runs for about 15 seconds and then dies. It's fully charged, it has been cleaned, all filters cleared, etc- it's junk. Worst of all, Kenmore won't offer warranty on it because I didn't apply for it before the year was up, despite it dying months ago. Don't buy this vacuum, or any Kenmore vacuum because they are hot garbage. Ignore my previous, hilarious review. I would give this 0 stars if I could. The fact that it sucks up dirt and debris efficiently and quietly is a nice touch for a vacuum. You might think that is to be expected, since it’s kind of why they exist, and while you aren’t wrong, I’d like to point out that this vacuum does that, but it also articulates to do that same thing, only way better than other vacuums that do not articulate. I can just use the vacuum to vacuum now instead of having to rearrange my entire house beforehand to make sure I can get into all the nooks and crannies. Now that I don’t have to lean over constantly to lift things to vacuum around them, my hunch back is going away and the neighborhood kids have stopped calling me Quasimodo, which has done wonders for my self esteem. Does YOUR vacuum help with your self esteem? Didn’t think so
