Nice looking but big operational problems.
I purchase seven of these for shutters in my cabana. The appearance is exactly as shown ... No surprises there. The fasteners supplied with the slide are an appropriate size for the slide. However the problem is that there is a great deal of play in the slide.... Meaning that the slide portion of the bolt slides into a spaces far too big for the slide leaving extra space. The result is that the shutters move back and forth with the wind rattling the entire time.... Quite noisey. AND as they rattle back and forth the slide works it way out of the lock until it eventually opens. So I had to wedge wood stays in the middle of the slide to take up the free space or play. Unattractive and makes them inoperable. I am looking for replacements but these kinds of problems are hard to detect on the Internet purchases so I am looking at local stores now.
