Heavy Duty Jimmy Proof Deadbolt Door Lock, Brass, Single Cylinder with Key Entry

Went on easy but you do have to make changes to door frame and trim boards to allow installation. Seemed to work good for now, only time will tell. Received quick and no parts were missing. I installed it on an older thin wood door so had to cut bolts and locking bar to length also. Was a good solution to older doors with skeleton keys.

I’m a girl and I could install it by myself, so it’s was very useful and easy for me. Good quality!

The lock assembly took about 45 minutes to install and gives reasonable security. Delivery was timely and packaged well.

I needed an extra lock in my apartment door and decided to look on Amazon I was supposed to going to Home Depot and I found this one for a decent price and ordered it so far it's working pretty good

The hardware on this lock was not bad for the price. The challenge was that the template used for the main lock body put the screw holes in the wrong place. After drilling the 1-3/8" hole for the cylinder (It really only needed 1-1/4"), I discovered that the template had put all four anchor screws too high up. THANKFULLY the lock body covered the incorrect holes and I was able to mark and install the screws by myself. Once installed, the inside thumb turn worked flawlessly. The keyed cylinder operated the lock, but it was stiff.

After cracking the old lock, this was an exact replacement for my old wooden door. It fits my fifties built house perfectly and seems to be sturdy and work well.

It is easy to install and it’s very protective. It makes it harder for someone to pick the lock

The lock was installed by a locksmith. A month or two later the lock it self fell out of place. Now getting in is difficult, cause the lock and key keeps rotating. It takes us a least 2-3 minutes to get it back to position to enter
