No, you can use a 19v laptop charger but to get this thing fed what it needs buy a 24v 250watt power supply.

Q: What is the low pass cut off for the subwoofer?

The frequency of the bass channel is 20hz-200hz

Q: Would I be able to hook up a regular speaker to the "subwoofer" channel, if I wanted to individually control the volume of that one speaker?

The answer that specifies your frequency limitations is correct. If you connect a full range speaker, it will not sound good. But you can if you don't care about sound quality, in which case you should just go back under your rock and stay there.

It comes default in aux , there is no such switch for it , to answer your question in simple words, when you get it just connect the aux to it and don't werry about nothing else.
