Does the job but flimsy
Does the job but a bit flimsy. All plastic, was hoping for something a bit more sturdy.

Not an audio expert, but I was able to use this for what I needed
MY NEEDS:I understand there are TONS of uses for this device, so it may not be for everyone. Just make sure you can map out where you're cables are going, inputs/outputs, and all that other good tech stuff before going with it. I have a logitech speaker system (all I have to do is plug the 3.5mm green jack into any headphone jack to use the entire system) that I only could use with my PS3 since I was able to use the red and white cable with the converter cable that came with the system (green 3.5mm female to red/white female, basically transmits audio that would normally go to my TV to the system directly). I wanted to figure out a way to use my speaker system with the PS4 and my Wii U (They use HDMI cables as the standard, so I couldn't use RCA for audio). It's kind of complicated on how I configured it, but here it goes:- Connected all HDMI cables from the system directly to the TV, leaving the audio output for the TV.- Connected a coaxial cable (C2G / Cables To Go 40008 Velocity S/PDIF Digital Audio Coax Cable) from the TV port to this Fosmon product (it's already plugged and powered on).- Connected my system output jack to the headphone jack in this product.- Configured settings on my TV for all my systems to output audio to the coaxial.- Profit in decibels. Now I am able to use my speakers for all my systems without any kind of audio cable switching and whatnot (Which I still have to do with HDMI since I only have two HDMI ports in my TV. HDMI splitter for another day). Success.PRODUCT ITSELF: Transmits audio as clearly as if I was using the speakers directly. I leave it on all the system, and it doesn't heat up or cause any problems.

Wonderful Little Magic Box!!!
GOOD STUFFThis solved a big problem with little expense and clutter compared to other work-around ideas I found online.I wanted to hook up a Gigaware speaker to my small television, (32' Emerson HD Flat screen), because some of the Netflix shows had such low volume I couldn't get it loud enough with just the tv speakers. This solved the problem completely. I already had a couple of headphone extension cords to use, (one double ended male like on the headsets, another with an rca jack and a regular male end, don't know what they even came with, but were in the wire drawer I keep that stuff in). I plugged it directly into the output on the Sony BlueRay Player, and to the box, then to the speaker. All I have to do is remember that if the power is off to the speaker system, I might have to use the (Gigaware) remote to tell it to use stereo input instead of 5 speaker suround sound settings, and its good to go!It translates the digital sound output on the BlueRay to analog that the speakers can use!It worked seamlessly with my Logitech systems as well, I had to hook them up just to see... one is the suround sound and the other I have is the two chanel with a big bass unit and two speakers. Sounds awesome when I stream Pandora through the BRPlayer, and don't have to use the electricity to power the tv even! Now my son wants two of them, one for home and one for work at the game shop.I'll gift them to him soon, but he ain't getting this one, its MINE! lol

Awesome! But could be a little bit better
It’s a great way to complete your home theater. It does seem a bit bendy though. If it was stiffer and secured better I’d love it 1 star more. But ultimately I’d recommend it. It’s a good product.
