OptiMATE 7 SELECT, TM-251, 9-step 12V 10A sealed battery saving charger & maintainer

The manual and the user interface are confusing. Otherwise, it does everything it is claiming. SAE connectors are standard, not proprietory, as many others do. I also have a few CTEKs, and this guy looks promising. It is also safety tested in quite a few governing bodies around the globe. On top of that, it has a global voltage input: from 110V to 240V - you could take it to New Zealand or Argentina, in case you work double season as a traveller.Added: it died in 13 months of active use. Working on the warranty at the moment - not easy or pleasant. Has to be shipped at the consumer's cost to Canada, three copies of customs declaration, etc. All-in-all the Tecmate rep is helpful, but you need to send them a few pictures and a video via emai first before they email you the RMA form and graciously filled customs declaration form with $30 (USD) in it

The media could not be loaded.  One unit DOA is a fluke. Two units DOA in a row is indicative of some serious QA issues. Both the original unit I received and the replacement are completely non-operational right out of the box: plug it into a verified live outlet - no lights ever come on, not even a green light indicating AC power. The unit never turns on, much less charge my motorcycle battery. I'm going to be returning the second one and going with a competitor's product.

These are the best chargers I've found so far for AGM batteries. I have two large AGM Lifeline batteries for my RV and placed two of these chargers (one each battery) to maintain the batteries indefinitely. They have work well so far both charging the batteries and maintaining them. Highly recommended.

Have only had it in my hands for a few days now. Been working on trying to recover two AGM batteries. It is working at it.

Brand new bug appears to work perfectly. I’ve ran 4 motorcycle batteries through it and it is currently reconditioning the battery on my Cat Skidsteer. It’s nice to not have a fan screeching away like my older charger. So far every battery has been a total automatic charging/conditioning process.

I have been using the tool almost daily. I have had batteries blowup( thankfully no one was around the batteries when they exploded). Also I have had batteries that the tool gave the green light, but failed the cold cranking amp test.

Great quality charger for storage and recovery of the main types of automotive and power sport batteries. This is the second unit we have.
