This has been helpful in my Sundowners Dog. The valerian helps her settle down at night and not be so anxious. I have another dog who is afraid of storms and I give this to her when the weather turns bad. It takes a little longer to settler her down but they do help.

My 14-year-old dog is doing so much better. Calmer less stressed, I don't think she would still be here without it.

I bought this for 14 year old dog. She has been waking me up every 4 hours w/ awful anxiety. I gave her this for the first time last night and she slept for 8 hours straight. I did think it had melatonin in it but it does not. I ended up giving her 2.5mg of human melatonin. I will say she chilled out without the melatonin but I was not sure if she would sleep through the night without it.

My dog, Jack, is a senior dog. Sometimes at night, he gets rattled and will walk around or want to go out and in and out and in...you get the idea! So when he's in these moods, or when we used to go on vacation and leave him at the dog hotel, Jack gets one of these. He is a much happier, calmer doggie with these lovely little hearts, and we are happier too!

My boy has been on these for about one month. He is a soon to be 11 year old great dane. For a few months he seemed to be getting progressively worse, it started with excessive barking then came the confusion (staring at walls, getting stuck in the bathroom and corners). Once the anxiety and shaking started I had to do something. These really worked for him, his symptoms slowly improved and now it's like having my old boy back. I definitely recommend this product.

My 14 year old dog suffers from dementia. He has recently started to pace at night. All night. Additionally he's restless when I lay down for bed. Literally jumping up and out of bed every 5 minutes. After a few weeks of not sleeping I came to the realization that it may be time to have a conversation with my vet about euthanasia. I wanted to try one more thing. I purchased these and they have made all the difference. He is calm, less anxious, and actually letting me sleep once again. I would highly recommend.

My dog loves these treats. My senior guy is 19 years old and will scarf these down as soon as it lands near his mouth! As far as the calming effect, it helps a bit, but they have now changed the formula.Bad listing: These are listed to have melatonin, but they changed the formula to remove it and did not update the listing yet. I reached out to their site directly in October, and its January and they still have not changed any listings. Even their main site states that the product has melatonin. Very misleading for new customers!

Concerns about safety of giving this to my dog due to packaging. The cellophone wrap was around the lid correctly. However, the protective foil top had a hole in it. The product has a gray powdery substance on it and the bites smells strong. This is my second time to order these. The first ones were not like these. I won't be giving these to my dog because they could make her sick.
