Racing into my collection, and transforming my wallet into an empty container
Let me preface this by saying that I'm an adult and apparently love buying toys for my kids and my wife and myself. This one was an indulgence for me. I really like this figure. It's well designed and durable. It looks like it jumped out of the old 1980's show. And it's a nice change from the odd (but nice) combiner wars design from years ago.I really wasn't planning or budgeting on getting this one, because I knew that an approximately $23 purchase now would mean I'll be spending about $200 on the full set of Stunticons. But so far I'm good with it.As a fan of Transformers since I was a kid, this is a nice upgrade compared to the old toy from the 80's. And while different than the comber wars design and the scramble city concept this would be good to add to anyone's collection. This also works as a stand alone gift, if you're not planning on buying a full set of Stunticons you can still have an nice transforming robot car and not concern yourself with the combining gimmick. It's a really nice $20+ gift for the kid or kidult in your life that likes transformers. So I highly recommend this figure to anyone that likes formula 1 cars, robots, transformers or really anyone that gets nostalgic about the 1980's.And I hope you can find a way to budget $23 for this now and about $200 throughout the course of a year while the rest of the Stunticons are released. This is a really cool toy, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.And thanks Amazon for getting it to me quickly and easily.Good luck and have fun out there and thanks for reading.

Better than Combiner Wars.
The original five Stunticons rev back into action once again and just like Combiner Wars Drag Strip is the first to the finish line before his team mates. Car mode is sleek (although the seat is obviously the back of Drag Strip's head) and stays together really well while robot mode is much more faithful to the original animated/toy version of the character than the overly weird CW version (bleeding eyes, what). Only semi-annoying issue is that the front set of wheels in robot mode don't really "click" anywhere in robot mode and just kind of hang off the back of the shoulders. For the combiner limb mode Hasbro/Takara decided to take inspiration from the G1 cartoon version of Menasor where the four smaller cars were drawn to look more like armor for the arms and legs and thus Drag Strip doesn't have an actual arm mode per say. Clicking the car mode into Menasor's right arm frame activates a button underside the car that lets it split into two and gives the arm a wide range of motion that previous combiner limbs could only dream of. While this is basically 'cheating' it still looks really good (and while Menasor can be formed with just the limb frames he looks really janky without all his parts). Also unlike most Scramble City/Combiner Wars gestalts the limb components are not as interchangeable so Drag Strip only be attached to the right arm frame.Recommended, especially if you want to go the extra mile and want to eventually create a complete Menasor (which absolutely shames the Combiner Wars version in both looks and durability).

Great remake of the original, super-sized. Two cool looking handguns

Great figure and a above average version of this character
I really love this version of Dragstrip so much more than the combiner wars version. He feels like a more solid figure, and honestly looks good individually. His car form is a little boxy, but that is kinda the whole G1 aesthetic they are going for in the legacy line, and I like it.I did knock a star off on this for a a couple of reasons. One is there are some unnecessary plastic gaps that could have just been solid, and would have looked better - there are aftermarket kits you can buy to fix this, but honestly Takara and Hasbro need to stop cutting corners if they are going to jack up figure prices. That brings to rant/point #2. Paying $20-25 for deluxe class figures that are using increasingly less materials, and are slightly smaller to scale than the last couple generations of deluxe figures is too much.If neither of these things trouble you, then you will be happy with the figure... I am still happy with my purchase overall.

One of the best in the Legacy line!
I got this at a discount for $17 from Amazon warehouse because the box was crushed. If you don't want to pay full price, i suggest you check out Amazon warehouse deals. I saw him range from $17 to $21. He's the 1st figure in a series of 5 Stunticons to form the giant guy Menasor. He forms the right arm.I like almost everything about him except the pegged wheels. Great likeness to his G1 counterpart. Looks great in both modes. Great articulation as well.In recent years, Hasbro has cheapened the figures and no longer or rarely use pin wheels which are much better. So I fixed it with some 3D printed hub caps from JRC Designs at Jcrdesigns.com. And paint the outer rims with a silver metallic Sharpie. He's perfect now!A must have if you plan on completing Menasor! Heck, get him even if you aren't.

Worth It
The media could not be loaded. My son reports this a very solid and decent figure. The color coding is accurate. He likes how awesome the vehicle form looks.

Great, solid, figure!
This figure is great. Solid with excellent articulation, tight joints, and g1 acurate. For being a mainline figure, its awesome. Also included with the figure is 2 weapons. Great for play as well as display. A definite plus is the fact that its a combiner to merge with the soon to be released Motormaster and the rest of the stunticons in a few months.
