An enjoyable hot barbecue sauce
This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own. Fresno Ghost kickin' hot BBQ sauce meets its stated goal of marrying hot sauce and barbecue sauce. The barbecue sauce is smokey and tangy with a tomato vinegar base. The flavor is robust with the right amount of sweetness. Then, you get a punch of heat as your bite finishes. The best part is that heat is strong, but not a palate killer. I could still enjoy my food and taste all the flavors. The sauce was thick but could be spread over the meat. A good choice for people like traditional barbecue flavor with a strong kick of heat.

Not what you think.
Bought these to give a try. Giving them 1 star cuz they do taste alright. Heat wise …ketchup has more of a kick than any of these bbq sauces. So if you’re looking for spicy, it’s ain’t here.

Bbq with a kick!
This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own. I am excited about this BBQ and hot sauce combo. I was scared of the heat but it's wrapped up in a nice blend of herbs, spices, and vinegar. I will be putting this on chicken and pulled pork! Really good flavor and heat level.

Good flavor and well disciplined heat.
They're all tasty and they all have that hot pepper sting like you got slapped in the face but it's not stupid hot like someone daring you to sweat and cry. It's more nuanced and balanced. It's like a symphony of beautiful strings that snap and hit you in the mouth when you get too close. But then even when your tongue is stunned there's still the complexities of the flavor beyond the heat. These sauces were made by an artist!

Watery not hot.
It’s good but it’s like buying water. More of a marinade consistency than a bbq sauce. My 6 year old said it’s not even hot. Definitely disappointed.

Not overly spicy bbq sauce
The only condiment my husband uses more than barbecue sauce is his homemade cayenne pepper-like pepper shaker made from his dehydrated ghost peppers, so when I saw this sauce, I thought he should definitely try it. It's not as spicy as we expected - definitely has some heat, but it's not blazing by any means. It has good flavor, slightly tangy and some spicy. I usually eat medium wing sauces and I would say it is comparable to that. Because we have our own ground ghost peppers, my husband said he would probably just use another bbq sauce he likes and add his own spice to it, but if you don't have your own spice available, this could be a good option - just don't expect it to be a super hot sauce.
