First off, this thing looks fancy. It’s sleek, shiny, and stylish enough to make my humble kitchen towel rolls feel like they’ve finally made it to the big leagues. Now, the catch: my roll of kitchen paper is apparently the heavyweight champion of the paper towel world, and this holder is more of a runway model like tall, and slim. So yes, it does wiggle a little when I pull a sheet which is slightly annoying. I think it would also benefit from a side/tension arm to keep the roll in place. But honestly, I can’t stay mad at it. It’s stainless steel, free-standing, and looks like it belongs in a kitchen catalog. Decent price and easy to assemble, can't really go wrong so its a win from me.

This kitchen roll holder is a fantastic addition to any kitchen. Its design is wonderfully simple yet elegant, blending seamlessly with any decor. The assembly process is incredibly straightforward—everything fits together easily, and no special tools are required. It's sturdy enough to hold the roll in place while allowing for effortless tearing, making it practical for everyday use. If you’re looking for a minimalist, functional, and easy-to-build kitchen roll holder, this one is an excellent choice.

It's so easy to put together, and sturdy too. The bottom is soft underneath to prevent it sliding around.

Acceptable quality for the price, however the packaging it comes in is dreadful. Three different plastic compartments welded onto cardboard backing - your worst nightmare. No choice but to attack it with sharp objects like knives and scissors, with the obvious risk of damaging something quite easily. Clearly cheap option, but the same could have been achieved simply with some carefully designed cardboard.

It came flat packed in one of these impossible to open without hacking into it, vacuum sealed packages, and of course I'm thinking knowing my luck I'll have to return this after I've ripped and cut my way into this. My first impressions were that it looked cheap from the packaging but I was so pleasantly surprised when I got it out. It has a lovely, smooth, almost velvety feel to it and definitely looks expensive. Underneath is just a simple foam but fine for grip and protecting surfaces. Instructions on how to assemble are on the back but not needed, even for the most inexperienced DIYers such as myself. Just a simple screw in the bottom and it feels nice and sturdy. I'm replacing my old holder as it went rusty at the bottom so only time will tell for this one, but first impressions are very good and I'd definitely recommend for the price. Slight amendment, after a bit of use I have one little niggle which I noticed as it didn't happen with my last holder. Because the bottom part is thin and has very little weight to it, it can move a bit while tearing off a sheet. For that reason I've dropped it to 4 stars.

Simple, solid, and does exactly what it should. The stainless steel looks clean and modern on the kitchen counter. It’s heavy enough not to slide or tip over when you tear off a sheet, even with larger rolls. No assembly needed, no frills — just a functional and well-priced paper towel holder. If you’re tired of cheap plastic ones falling over, this is a great upgrade. Nice fit to my kitchen

The base has some weight to it and the materials are made of nice quality. I recommend this product.
