The value here is in the subscription. My household does a lot of laundry and we go through this in about 6 months, so it works out perfectly. It just shows up when its about to be needed. Perfect. I trust this name brand over some of the other "boraxes" out there. Some are a lot lighter weight than this so I don't know what they are selling. Probably air. WIth Borax brand, you get a lot of powerful powder that you can use in a variety fo ways.

I use this in every wash. I have spent a lot of money on all the fancy laundry beads. Borax is cost effective and works. I use it for every load. My laundry smell clean not perfumy. My son is an athlete and this effectively removes the smell form practice clothes. I had one generous scoop (I use one of those candy buffet scoopers) right into the drum before adding clothes. I have never had issues with it dissolving.
