Q: Will this fit my 2005 f 350 6.0

Should do -- it fit my 2006 F250 6.0 -- A word of advice - make sure you use the install tool or you will destroy the seal during insertion. The tool is expensive (I recall around $80), but believe me you NEED the tool whether loaned or purchased. Best of luck.

Your truck has an 05 axle order the seal for an 05 it is smaller

This seal is for a 05 and up will not work on your truck.

Q: The metal o- ring came out a part . Would it stell work?

If the seal isn’t perfect I would buy a new seal. I bought the tool to install it and it went in perfect.
