I love this water bottle! The size and weight is perfect. It keeps drinks cold in the hot sun which is what I was looking for. The quality is great, it holds up well in the dishwasher and its fairly easy to clean. My daughter has had one for a few years and it doesn't have any scratches or dents. The price is right for this one.

I've been getting into replacing my plastic kitchenware, and stainless steel drinking vessels are on the list. I already have a Simple Modern Wave bottle, and I bought this (on sale because I'm still testing the stainless steel options out there) because I wanted to be able to have multiple bottles so I can rotate them so they can be cleaned and air dried thoroughly. And I wanted to try a different brand too! When I received this, I immediately set aside the included reminder to register for the warranty and stuffed the included silicone bottle scrubber in my scrubby things drawer with my sponges and straw cleaners. It's a nice add on and I appreciate it, but I'm not the biggest fan of hand cleaning silicone tools with lots of fiddly bits (I don't have a dishwasher) so I'm not sure how I'd clean the scrubby brush once used. I'll figure it out when my current bottle brushes get too worn down (I love having all these options now, it used to be I could only find short brushes meant for baby bottles!). I washed my brand new bottle and set it aside to dry. The next day, I filled it up with cold water and set it in the fridge to grab later. Well, I tried to set it in the fridge door, in the narrowest compartment where my remaining stash of single use water bottles were. It didn't quite fit, but I figured it was because it was a tight fit and maybe I was holding it at a bad angle. Being impatient, I jammed it in, and only too late did I realize I should've heeded that first "This isn't fitting" when I felt the fridge material scraaaaaape against my brand new bottle. Well, so much for that warranty card lol. When I grabbed the bottle later I observed the white scrapes on the bottle with dismay and went on with my day. Figured that would teach me to not take care of my brand new things. Only a day or so later, when I was cleaning the bottle, I realized the white flecked off if I rubbed at it. It all came off, and I realized that the powder coating was untouched, it was my fridge door that lost that confrontation. I'm genuinely pleasantly surprised and impressed. With time and use and exposure to weather etc, that powder coating may begin to fail at a chemical bond level and flake or chip off, but from the start the quality seems pretty robust from the factory, which usually means longevity in how well the product will last. So that aside, this has done a pretty decent job of keeping cold water cold. I've yet to try this with ice because I don't own any ice trays small enough for the narrow opening (I use the massive single ice molds from Tovolo). I also don't drink directly from this, I prefer to pour into a cup with a straw. As a water bottle that serves as a keep-cold carafe, this works excellently for my purposes, and pours well and cleanly. I will say this bottle, while pretty enough, isn't the most handy to carry around. The shape means that if you hold it by the neck like I prefer to, given the size of my hands vs the body of the base, the weight balance makes it pretty unwieldy and tiring to boot. I went looking for handles for this bottle, but the few options I found, I didn't like the designs well enough to shell out money to try yet - low priority since the lack of an easy way to hold this bottle isn't bothering me too badly yet. The silicone loops by Swell look nice, but the idea of having to work the silicone on and off the bottle to properly clean both the handle and bottle seems too annoying to bother with.

Great quality! It has lasted us two whole school years of kindergarten and first grade! The paint only chipped because it was dropped on concrete many times. The color has stayed vibrant and this was such great value for the price! It kept my daughter’s water pretty cold for the majority of the school day.

Very nice water bottle, design and colors are amazing, I ordered another design first (dinosaurs) and bought a 2nd one (jellyfish). However the silicone handle seems porous: my daughter ate tomato spaghetti at daycare and the color from the sauce stained the handle. It has yet to wash off. A bit disappointed by that. It leaks a tiny bit when put upside down but stops rapidly. Just close the spout when not using. Size is good for 3y.old.
