This is a great knee pad. It is nice and thick giving your knees relief and comfort when needed during certain yoga poses/positions. It is well made and durable. My only complaint is that it comes rolled up and takes a bit to reshape it so that I lies flat when in use. I found that rolling it up for storage in the opposite direction that it came rolled up in helps to keep it from curling up when you take it out for use. Good investment. No regrets.

Nice and thick for my boney knees and bum! Perfect for yoga, sit-ups and push ups, or whatever else you’re doing. I bought two, one for myself and one for my hubby. It’s firm enough to support with comfort. I definitely recommend. Also, no weird smell!

I just received this pad and I love it already! It is not only great at giving that extra support needed for the knees, but I also tried it under my hips and vertically for my spine. It has made such a difference. The padding gives just the right amount of support - not too thick and not too hard. I haven't had any issues with it slipping either. I am so happy with this purchase! ***This review is for the 3/8 inch thick mat - I just noticed that Amazon must have reorganized the reviews wrong when this new mat was added to their site.*** However, I did also order the 3/4 inch mat and I really like it as well so I would also give it 5 stars. I can't roll it up or fold it as I can the thinner version but it is much better on my knees. I find these mats a lot more convenient than using traditional yoga props like blankets - etc. for certain asanas because I don't have to refold or put in the washer - I just wipe it quickly when I clean my yoga mat. I own many props and especially when I have limited time, these mats really come in handy. I would suggest owning both since you are able to manipulate the thinner version for more things (I love it under my hands for Adho Mukha Svanasana because it adds a certain bit of stability for me as well as making it easier on my joints) but the thicker version provides much needed support for those who really need it. I have arthritis in my left knee and was in terrible pain until I started practicing yoga. Over time the pain has greatly decreased but I always use padding for them while practicing to take extra care which makes my discomfort barely noticeable if at all. I admit that sometimes I didn't feel like bringing out my blanket for my knees, but using this mat is so much easier that now I use padding for my knees every time - which has made a huge difference for me, especially now that SukhaMat has put out this thicker version.

As a yoga instructor who now needs more comfort during my practice, I invested in this mat rather than using a folded blanket. It is quick to place under knees and supportive with dense foam. However, if you are wearing long yoga pants your knees will slide a bit. There is not enough traction on the pad. Bare knees when in yoga shorts, fine. I only go as short as capri length in hotter weather, so I have to pull the fabric up a bit when doing Table Pose, Cat/Cow, Knee Down Lunge and other knee down asanas. Overall, good quality and light to carry if you want to bring it to class. Tough balance to have traction without irritation. Best they could do.

My knees had always hurt doing my stretching exercises, but only because the professional yoga pad I was using was so lacking where my knees rested. The amazing, totally professional Sukhamat adds extra padding right where my knees rest for a more pleasureful yoga session that doesn't leave my knees hurting. And it stays in position the whole time. I was even able to hold my yoga positions longer and enjoyed my sessions so much more that I have now increased the number of sessions I get in a week. It's that amazing! And my knees look great too. No more blisters.

For a Yoga beginner and for the price, I think this is a darn well made Yoga mat, it has so much perks for its price, looks esthetic, extra length and width, sits seamlessly fit on wooden floor, no crinkle or ripples. The thickness seems just right for me, it’s pretty impressive given that it’s not that thick, yet still provides comfort and cushioned support I would purchase this product again should my current one wears out, this brand has very nice color selections, I got the Pink color, which looks more like rosy pink, absolutely love it.

These are the best purchases. I bought 2 for the family to use. I can’t believe how great they are. They come rolled up tighly, so I was worried they wouldn’t stay flat when I needed to lay it across the mat, but somehow, it does! We went from achy knees and frustration with not keeping balance in poses, to not even thinking about knee pain when in a pose. That small difference changed me from being distracted by pain and wiggling around to avoid pain (and thinking yoga is just not for me) to striking a pose on my knees and being able to focus on posture and balance like a pro. It gave me the confidence I needed simply by taking my pain away from kneeling in the floor. Wonderful purchases!

I have been using it for yoga class. I have not had pain on my knees. My yoga mat is thin, so when I had to put my knees down or do half split I felt I was hurting my knees. Now it feels so much better. Great mat.

Bought this for my husband to use in yoga. I’ve had mine for years and is a little stiffer and better in my opinion. Overall the new one is good.

This knee pad is nice and thick. It made an immediate impact on the quality of my yoga session by cushioning my palms during the downdog pose which I frequently do, and reassures me that I am not placing excessive force on my wrists. I've just placed an order for a second identical mat for my knees.

If you have any knee problems at all, this mat is a game changer. I spent time looking at various ones & in particular the thickness as that is the difference between being able to do some postures or not. So easy to place it under your knees quickly & then put to one side when not required.

Was initially looking at the RatPad YogaRat RatPad, Indigo as my knees need the extra padding, but I hate the thicker (squishier) full yoga pads. So, glad I stumbled upon the Sukha Knee Pad instead as I don't need to move it around (as I would with the single knee pad)...good cushion without being too soft and stays put on the yoga mat underneath. The shipping on this item was a little outrageous, but still glad I purchased it...use it every day.
