Good
After 1.5 days work I finally have this assembled. Blimey that was hard work. Its about as difficult as things get. 110 bolts to screw in and each one can take 5-10mins. The instruction are really unclear and not very helpful. You're not getting a 'product' here, you're buying some metal sheets with some screws - buyer beware. This is not like something you get from Ikea. The packaging was good, however as others have mentioned there were lots of scuff marks behind the blue protective coating, so clearly slight damage is done before the blue film is applied in the factory. The grey panels scuff extremely easily, and whilst you're screwing in the bolts and the panels are sliding around you'll get plenty of scratches. The parts are very confusing. Part E4 shown on the instructions was completely missing, something for the cross-brace - I just had to plod on without it. Part F - this completely threw me as I couldn't make head or tail of the diagram, and later found that this was just a longer bolt.Assembly of the cross-brace is mind-boggling. The instructions are not clear. I eventually decided to remove 8 bolts from a previous step to replace with the hoop-bolt thingy, and that seemed to work. There is no direction on whether you need to apply "tension" to the wire. I tried my best to at least give some tension using 2 pairs of pliers. There are plenty of sharp parts all over. This isn't family friendly consumer goods designed for the 'home, its something for a workplace that needs warning signs around it. Sharp metal protrudes from nearly everywhere, clothes catch, skin scratches, and really is a danger if you fell into or on it.That said, I now have my "Steel Planter" which I guess is what I ordered and what I have, and its all good for planting, looks great, and I'm looking forward to filling it up. If you can live with all the above then definitely consider getting one.

Can do with 1 person but easier with 2
This was one of the best volume to cost raised beds I found in this material. After making up many of these, here are my tips ... Finger tighten only at first to allow for adjusting before tightening. The tools I used were a 10mm socket and pliers to pull and tighten crossed brace cables. The structure does flex enough for some ground lumps and bumps but get it reasonably Level. Consider bulking out the base to save costs - I used free logs, woodchips and council grass cuttings then a 10cm cap of compost and that was still about 300 litres of compost! The top edges are not perfectly flush, fine for me but maybe with children or other vulnerable people it would need edging with UV resistant protection such as EPDM rubber strips. Very happy with it so far.

Looked easier than it was .
To peel off the plastic was a pain, a lot of work. The edges are very sharp where they overlap and it was awkward putting together. I like the look , will have to see if they are durable

These are great planters!
Points to be aware of;1. A base to the planter is NOT supplied.2. Is delivered flat-packed for self assembly.3. Each piece is covered in protective BLUE film which you remove to reveal whatever colour you ordered.4. The 1.81m planter, due to the way it is constructed, can be made into two shorter planters. These were exactly what I was looking for. I prefer the oval shape & these planters in terms of material and shape were perfect. I ordered the 1m80cm high planter, but once delivered as flat packs, the way they are constructed allowed me to split the planter into 2 seperate shorter planters. *Be aware that they are covered with protective film which makes them look blue, but once it is removed, you see the colour you chose. They are available in 2 colours, silver and dark grey, so on trend! There are no bases to the planters which but becomes stable once filled.

Good, may buy more
Came well packed, although with scuff marks in places, out of the box. Shows up more with dark grey. Its a bit wobbly than I expected but solid with soil in it. The volume is fairly big, you may want to have one half planted and the other half as a compost bid.It does dry out so would maybe advise burying a container or pond liner. Also i had a rabbit or fox dig in it for a sleepover, so maybe you want to get mesh, big rocks to prevent that. Some of the screws are beginning to rust after a while but otherwise solid.

Nice, easy and can be modified to suit your garden
Really happy. I got the 4 meter version, however used it against a wall as two shorter planters. Worked a treat.I did however need a few extras bits due to what I was doing but all very easy to do and readily available. Basically a few extra M6 nuts, bolts and washers - a couple of quid from screwfix. I also bought some ‘galvanised restraint straps’ from Wickes for £2.50-£3. This was to stop the (end against the wall) being pause apart by the weight of the soil. The restraint straps have predrilled holes so just bent the ends to 90 degrees and used the predrilled holes in the panels designed for connecting the next sheet to instead connect the ends of my galvanised restraint strap to act as a cross brace. Sounds complex, really wasn’t.

Fiddly to construct with poor instructions…but end product good!
This product is very frustrating! The end result we are very pleased with…the building process was a pain in the a***! Very poor instruction diagram which did not make things clear at all. We are used to constructing flat pack things but this was a nightmare! Plastic wrap film on the curved pieces very annoying to peel off. The bendy nature of the material made to tricky to align holes. Some sharp edges which needed extra care! Took us all our patience to create this! However, now we know how to build it, it will be easier when we get more….as we like it e the end result!
