Which Pedia-Lax product should I use?

If your child is uncomfortable because of constipation, we first suggest trying an oral product: chewable tablets or liquid stool softener. If your child’s constipation is more severe, for the quickest relief, we suggest suppositories or enemas.

What’s the difference between the rectal and oral products?

Oral products are easy to administer and work over a short period of time. Rectal products provide immediate relief. Please see our product information page for details on each product’s reaction time.

After I give my child Pedia-Lax, how long before they’ll go?

Results will vary with each child and depend on which Pedia-Lax product you use, anywhere from a few minutes to 72 hours.

What’s the difference between the two rectal products?

Pedia-Lax Enema is a saline laxative. Pedia-Lax Liquid Glycerin Suppositories are a glycerin laxative administered in a liquid form applied with a disposable, no-mess applicator. They both relieve occasional constipation.

Works, tastes good

Great taste, toddler loves them. She just doesn’t know it makes her go potty, so I have to restrain her. Ha. It helps with #2, gently.

Laxative and stool softener for autistic daughter

Recommended by pediatrician for my autistic daughter who has a restricted diet. She likes the watermelon flavor and they do exactly what their intended for, is all I can say. I'm sure my daughter's belly and butt feels so much relief to be honest! Also, I've been giving to her for about two weeks now but I noticed them help the first day.

Perfect dosage to regulate adult constipation without urgency or accidents happening.

Taking these daily, as an adult, per my dr. It's a low enough dose there isn't an urgency to go to the bathroom, yet it is loosing up the constipation due to a medication I'm currently taking. I have a hard time with chewable medicines & I have a hard time swallowing chewable medicines whole. Dr advised, I could crush it up & put in a drink, yogurt, etc. I've been tearing it apart to smaller pieces & swallowing it with my regular daily medicine/vitamins.

essential for kids who hold their poop

These have been essential for my 2 poop holding kids as they potty trained. There was no amount of oral laxative that would get them to empty like these things do. They are easy to use and work within seconds. No waiting around forever.

Great option for Toddlers

My 3 year old toddler struggles with constipation, bought this after trying fiber gummies, fiber drinks, & prune juice. Nothing really seemed to work. Gave my daughter 2 chewable tabs which she loved the taste, and within 30 min she was able to go potty!!! Amazing product. Highly recommend.

These works great! I wish they would work sooner than 6 hours but it does get the job done! It’s gentle on their stomach I always keep them in stock because dairy tends to constipate my children.
