Patternmaking for Womenswear, vol. 1: Constructing Base Patterns - Skirts

Want a perfect skirt, start here
This arrived today and is already my favorite pattern drafting book. It covers an explicit territory... skirts. That's all, but a lot of varieties from the basic pencil to high waist to various flared variations. Plus pockets and different ways of handling back split/pleat. Does not include pleated skirts, though. Everything is orderly, and the illustrations and instructions are crystal clear. I've already preordered the next volume. A bonus in this book that I've not encountered in other pattern drafting books is how to handle overall body posture from the beginning (as opposed to correcting "faults") and silhouette. Although I own a great custom-laser-drafted pencil skirt pattern, I plan to follow each type of skirt to make master muslins for my use.

Highly recommend, clear explanations.
Can’t wait for the other two volumes to be released in English. Highly recommended.
