The Ostfriesentee is a special, strong tea blend of East Frisia Germany. It can consists of up to ten types of black tea, mainly from Assam. But even tea from Ceylon and Africa, as well as Java, Sumatra and Darjeelingsorten be mixed thereto. In East Frisia, tea is consumed three to four times per day. In addition to breakfast and dinner, one morning tea time is held at around 11 a.m. and one mostly at 3 p.m. It is said to set that three cups of tea per sitting are adequate.

I purchased this tea once before and decided it's the ONLY Ostfriesische Mischung to order in the US, the only blend faithful to the tea I always drank in Germany. AND the price is quite reasonable! I gave two bags as Christmas presents to introduce friends to this excellent tea. With Kandis (rock candy), can't be beat, and the seller surprised me by including some little bags of Kandis. What a nice treat! I will continue to purchase this tea. It's the real deal!

Very Happy with Tea
I love this tea!! It is robust and not bitter and is great with sugar and cream, just like Frisian tea should be enjoyed. I will purchase it again.
