This was a perfect gift for a 1 year old who puts everything in his mouth. They are plastic and in one piece. No movable parts or pieces that can be swallowed. He loved lining them up and making the sounds for each one of them. What made the gift even more special was that I paired this with a See-n-Say farm animal toy and a farm animal book that had sound buttons. Loved it!!!

Cute little animals. They are made of soft plastic/rubber material, lightweight but durable. Tough enough so kids should not bite thought. Perfect size for little hands. My 16 month old loves them. I bought it for little people farm barnscwe got second hand, and they fit the barns great. Many hours of imaginative play. He carries them around, puts them in vehicles. He knows all the names and sounds already. Great toy for the price.

Seriously perfect for my 18 month old daughter, she absolutely loves them! They are sturdy, have bright and vivid colors, and are big enough to not be a choking hazard. I do wish there was a bigger variety of animals instead of doubling up on a few, but it’s not a big deal. I also wish there weren’t holes in the bottom because i hate when toys get filled up with water but you could easy just hot or super glue over the holes. Overall I really am so happy with this purchase!

Wonderful farm animals for a great price! Animals are of good quality and lots of fun for more than one child to play with at the same time (some of these animals are in the picture, the second from the right). We purchased the Green Toys farm playset also (shown on the far right in the picture), some animals from Fisher Price Little People (second from the left), and the Battat barn with animals (on the far right). The Battat barn is the nicest we have found for this age group (12+ months old). The Fisher Price animals are the most realistic and the best quality when comparing animals. The Boley farm animals are very cute and durable, and they are a great price for how many animals you get. The Green Toys animals are all one color of molded plastic and aren't realistic, but the kids love to take the Green Toys barn along from room to room (the Battat barn is almost too big for the kids to carry it easily around). Overall, the kids like having the different brands of animals to play with. If I had to recommend the best playset with animals, it would be the Battat Barn playset. I bought a small farm set for 1yr old, but it didn’t come with enough animals so I bought this set. These are so darn cute. Colors are nice and shiny, perfect size for little hands and a nice variety of farm animals. I wouldn’t use them for the tub because they’re kinda firm, so water won’t easily squeeze out of them, plus the hole at the bottom is very small. Love them!

This is a wonderful set of animals. It's perfect for teaching animal sounds. It's durable and kids love to carry them. They aren't too small or too big. They are the size of a 2yo open hand and can easily be carried by a 2yo. Mine loves to carry around her animals. Educational and fun!

I bought these for my son for his 1st birthday and they have been one of his favorite toys ever since! The animals are durable, cute design and he really enjoys sorting them and learning the names of each of them. We love them so much we have gifted them at two other 1st birthdays. Would highly recommend them to anyone. We have never used them in the tub.
