I have extremely dry course long curly hair. I’ve head it for 62 years so you can imagine I’ve tried everything that’s out there- some expensive, some inexpensive. This is absolutely one of the best conditioners I’ve ever tried. Although nothing can make me have long straight silky hair, this has tamed my curls so they look springy and soft and has smoothed frizz all over. Love the mild not overwhelming hint of coconuts. I just ordered the shampoo since I was so impressed with the product.

Smells absolutely amazing but definitely not my favorite conditioner I've ever tried. My hair is fairly thin and fine. It's also mostly straight, color-treated, frequently heat-styled, and lacking volume. Plus, I live in a very dry climate. With all that said, I need a conditioner that gives serious moisture without serious weight. Normally, I can get away with shampooing only once or twice a week. With this stuff, it is more like 3-4 times. It is somewhat heavy and greasy. Not greasy like a hormonal teen, but greasy like I put a really rich lotion in my hair. I also notice I have a harder time working it evenly into my hair the longer it has been since I've shampooed. In fairness, I once got a coconut oil hair masque at a spa that left a similar feel and I had to shampoo more than often for about a week afterwards. Maybe coconut oil just does that. Still, I think the benefits of the coconut oil are cancelled out by the extra shampooing, for me anyway. I'll probably use most of the rest of the bottle, but I won't likely buy again. This could be great for you if your hair is thicker, coarser, or needs to be shampooed more often anyway; it just didn't meet my needs.

I have had dry, absolutely unmanageable hair all my life. I never used a curling iron or chemicals of any kind, it's just the way it is. And I always had to put extra conditioner and infusium on my hair to detangle it - and not easily, at that. It's been a struggle all my life. I decided to try this because I use coconut oil for lots of skin care applications with great success, and I AM SOLD!!! First of all, the fragrance is divine! It is rich and thick, and I only used about a quarter's worth in my palm, as opposed to an entire palm full of other conditioners. I left it on a few minutes as the directions suggest, and when I rinsed it out, I was able to get a comb through my hair without any difficulty at all. This conditioner truly IS a miracle! When my hair dried, it was softer than soft. I really didn't believe my hair could ever be so wonderfully soft. Even my husband couldn't keep his hands out of my hair, it felt so good ... now there's a reason right there to never buy any other conditioner!
