Very handsome band but bonded leather doesn't stand up to daily abuse
The Good: it's real leather, it's a really amazing color, and it looks good, looks like a quality leather band at a casual glance. I've worn this band for about a year, nearly every day. I wear it watering the yard, in the craft shop, doing the dishes, on my bike - it goes where I go rain or shine, and I've really enjoyed it.The Bad: It's bonded leather, not full grain. That means it's ground up leather reshaped into leather sheets and resurfaced with something that smooths out the finish. For what it is it, looks & feels darn good. But as I've gotten it wet, banged it around, and taken it on and off every day, it has begun to stretch out. Still looks alright, but is starting to go out of shape and show signs of wear. I can't really complain... you get what you pay for.If you only plan to wear it to work or for mostly indoor socializing, this is a great choice. If you're looking for something that will take abuse in the big wild world and last more than a year, get one of those woven NATO bands, or better yet, full grain leather.

Very Nice Strap
I have had it for about a a month now and I like it. I own several zulu / nato style straps both in leather and nylon. Of the leather nato straps I own, this one is by far the best. One of my hobbies is leather working, so I am very particular about leather watch straps. The leather itself is not too thin, not too thick. However, it is thick enough to get scuffed while looping it between the watch case and the spring bars. I was able to remove the scuff marks by applying a thin coat of waterproof leather sealing wax. It protected the surface while adding a deeper, richer color plus it concealed the scuff marks. The hardware is nice as well. It has an almost mirrored finish, but it is a perfect match for the color of this strap. An area of improvement could be the edges of this strap. Despite the fine workmanship of the strap in general, the edges are rough. This could easily be solved by burnishing the edges to give them a smooth finish. I used a wooden burnishing tool and was able to smooth out the edges in about 10 minutes. Strap looks and feels great now!Overall, I like this strap and would buy another one again without hesitation.

Looks good but poor quality.
Aesthetically speaking strap looks great. Longer than I'd like. I'm on the third to last whole on my 7.25" wrist.Feels very thin and expandable without a lot of retention. Watches with tighter spring bar to case might benefit from such a THIN strap. If your planning on using this as a daily wearer, save your money and look elsewhere. If you just want something to throw in the mix every so often this will suit you fine.I'd fairly price this item at around $10 with shipping. At $15 it makes you reconsider.Oxblood does look nice though I have to admit.

The Leather is EXCELLENT, however, I would be wary about buying a leather NATO strap
When I opened this watch-strap I was SO happy. The leather was not the fake pleather-like stuff you're used to seeing from cheap-ish products -- this is the real deal, with that brand new, luxurious, chemically leather smell. The only thing I will say is that Nato Straps are meant to be folded over after you loop them through the buckle and in that final metal loop (it depends on how large your wrist is, but I would say that if your wrist is thicker than the average person, you may not have to fold it back over). While this is all well and good with nylon NATO style straps, it is very odd to me for leather, as you literally have to fold the leather strap over under itself (imagine folding it like a hairpin turn on a race track back into the loop). It's kind of awkward, done with leather, but to each their own.

Boy, lesson learned
I wish I would have paid more attention to the product description when I needed a new watch band. It says real leather, but it's only 1.5mm thick (a point I missed prior to ordering.)I was expecting a supple band of leather, and even though it's thin, the material used is stiff, it doesn't easily bend around my wrist.I really like the NATO band aesthetic, being able to tuck excess material through metal loops so there isn't a huge tail hanging from the buckle, but the leather is so stiff, it doesn't easily thread through the additional loops past the buckle.I hope I can return it, I had to poke an additional hole in the band because wearing it loose to slop past my wrist was uncomfortable.1.5mm thick... Not sure how thick cardstock is but I swear cardstock is thicker, and I think a band of cardstock would have wrapped around my wrist easier

lEaThEr NATO Strap
The fact that someone has the audacity to call this leather is laughable. It is leather in the literal sense, but more closely resembles a paper bag. I bought this company’s nylon NATO watch strap and was pleasantly surprised by the quality, especially for the low price ($10) so I decided to try out their leather variant of the NATO strap. These two straps couldn’t be farther in quality from each other. I returned mine and bought a strap with twice the thickness for the same price. I supplied a picture of a NATO strap I own to show the thinness of the leather.

The strap is very comfortable and looks great
The strap is very comfortable and looks great. It has right thickness and fits on all of my watches. All the metal parts are well polished and has enough space so the excess tail of the strap could be doubled back and tucked into the keepers a second time. I bought one (Dark brown) in February and liked it so much I ordered another one to put on my Tudor Ranger. The second strap's color is a bit darker(still looks great) and feels the same except it has strong chemical smell not like typical leather smell. I am not sure if I got a lemon.

"These straps punch way above their cost"
I like these leather straps so much that I ordered a third one to mix and match with my watches. They are very comfortable and attractive. The thickness is perfect for a nato strap. If they were as thick as a two piece leather strap they wouldn't fit between the spring bars and lugs. They wear and patina as real leather does. They feel , look and smell like leather because they are. Better to switch straps then to constantly purchase additional watches to satisfy the urge for something new. These straps are actually more comfortable and better looking then a nylon nato. Yes, I am sold on them......What's not to like?

Cheap ! Does not look at all like real oiled leather
Rubber alike finish , not at all like a oiled leather finish. On top of this , had to pay postage from Canada to US to get refund... overall look and feel really as a cheap product from China

NO ES DE PIEL!
Ojo! No es de piel, pero está fabricada con muy buena calidad y las hebillas y los aros se perciben de excelente calidad. Si la recomiendo.
