First to know, there is no motor mounting hardware to attach the motor to the ceiling and I had to buy bolts to install the bracket that connects the trolley arm to the garage door. Wish I knew that before hand. Installation was not covered under my scenario in the manual. I have a two track low profile door and a low ceiling. Had to install the track below the spring and couldn't angle the track downward toward the motor due to clearance. But I maintained good mechanics. Everything takes me on average three times longer to install than the average guy. Therefore, I would imagine the average guy taking about a day assuming some adlibbing and trips to the hardware store. Assembly was easy. Installing the safety sensors to look for obstacles blocking the door from closing and the wired remote were easy. Setting the trolley travel distance is a breeze, in fact I loved it. Programming in general is easy. The quality of the motor and track system seems very good and has no problem lifting the door. The opener is very quite as compared to chain drives, something that I am extremely happy with. Can't hear it inside at all. The range of the remote control is reasonable. The opener does include a battery for backup, but I haven't tested it. It doesn't have a camera, but I had one in there beforehand and that's just fluff anyway. For some reason, when closing the door using wifi, the door beeps all the way to closed. Overall, super happy with the door opener! I'd buy it over again in a heartbeat.

Our old Craftsman Overhead Door Garage Opener bit the dust after 20 years so we decided to get this unit with more horsepower and try the belt-driven model, since our previous one was chain driven. Never again would we have a chain driven overhead door operator for the garage. This belt driven operator is sooooooo quiet. WOW, and we were impressed in the difference with power going from 1/2 hp to 1 1/4 hp for a 2 car garage door that we have. Remarkable and it just sooooo easily pulls the big garage door up without much effort; amazing, really !! (our old unit which was smaller hp seemed to struggle and make such racket of the door.) Take your time putting it together, watch the video from the manufacturer. I read the manual as my husband put it together. It was very easy for husband to put the operator together but he is mechanically-inclined and knows how these operators work, which was a plus for us. Love the remote, the wall control and nice to have a keypad working again, too. Most what I liked and was impressed with is how smooth it opens the door and QUIETLY. We look forward to another 20 years which would equate to $17.50 per YEAR ! Can't beat that, plus the quality and the hp strength. And would like to say because our garage is out front of our home (detached from the home), we go thru the garage as a thorough way to our home and open and close the garage overhead door several times a day. We 'swear' by Craftsman as that was a Sears product with high ratings in itself. Highly recommend this unit, the only brand we will ever buy. We're very happy with our purchase for the price and thank you Craftsman/Chamberlain and Amazon !!

Had this professionally installed & unit is working very well & technician had no issues with installation. Brightness is sufficient for my needs. Price was fair & I like its ability to connect to WiFi. MyQ is good but can be a finicky, nothing horrible though. The only reason I docked a star is because one of the included remotes is defective.

I've only put up 4 garage door openers in my life, but this is the first one I am really proud of! The instructions were fairly good. I was dreading the "set-ups" of the remotes, etc., but the instructions walk you through it, and before I knew it, I had an operating door. (I didn't do any of the smart options because my wi-fi doesn't work in such a remote area.) I am VERY happy with the operation of this opener...it is EXTREMELY quiet, which tells me it has a superior design. Yes, I know it was a bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for.My door is an aluminum 16' X 7' door, and it lifts the door effortlessly, although I had to use every inch of travel I could squeeze out of it. I AM SO HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT! Keep in mind that I just installed it today, so it's longevity is yet to be seen, but I'd be willing to bet I'll get many years of use out of it, from what I've seen.

Replacement for a failed 30 year Craftsman opener, this even fit the old door attachments and brackets.Works very well and includes WiFi and battery operation.

This is a great garage door opener. It has all the bells and whistles except a camera. It is also very powerfull with 1.25 horse power. However, the best thing about it is the price. I got it at $50 off during prime days. No other opener has all of these features at this price.

i bought this to replace my 20 year old opener and am very happy with this purchase. setting the upper and downward limits were a pain but other than that it was well worth the money!
