Pink Unicorns & Castle Cake Topper – 1/4 Sheet Unicorn & Castle Frosting Sheet Decoration for Birthday Cakes

This was great! So easy and looked awesome!

I bought vanilla cake in Costco for $15.99 plus this beautiful and -easy to use- edible paper and unicorn sprinkles. I cand tell, we made beautiful cake, budget friendly and it really made my daughter happy! I can only recommend for everybody who doesn't want to spend hundreds $ for cake or for those who wants make their one cake and need some proffesional looking design. I just cut it to make circle. I was worried little that I can tear or destroy the edible paper, but not at all!

Make an ordinary cake special so easy

Pros: image was clear. Cons: Didn't fit 1/4 sheet cake purchased from grocery store bakery (too wide in one dimension, too short in opposite dimension). Instructions stated that image could be trimmed, but this led to cracking/shattering along edge. For application to cake, instructions were followed, but image never adhered to cake frosting.

This was my first attempt at decorating a cake for my daughters 6th birthday. I usually just bake it and later ice the top in the pan. It's very easy to use and apply. It comes in a plastic in a cardboard mailer. You need to stick in the freezer for 5 minutes. Directions didn't say to leave in or take out of the plastic but I did take it out and set in freezer on top of a frozen pizza so it laid flat. Then bring it in to your freshly iced cake, peel the backing off and stick on your cake. There was very minor spots where it didn't quite wanna lay but you just work it gently with your fingertips and boom, you have a beautiful cake! Highly recommend. I will be doing all cakes like this now. I'm a single dad, the kids love my cakes!

I was a little surprised to see this was in the "portrait" orientation and not a "landscape," it was still a good quality image, and stayed together very well during the application to the cake.

Great for a cake topper

At first I was very hesitant on purchasing this because I had never put one of these on a cake before. My daughter wanted a unicorn cake for her birthday and I thought this looked pretty cool so I ordered it. I made a 1/4 sheet cookie cake with frosting then put this on top of the frosting. It was pretty easy to put on just follow the directions provided. Just put it in the freezer for about 5 minutes but not longer than 5 minutes then remove the backing (by peeling off) and put on cake. It was that easy. I would have added a picture but it's on my wife's phone. Believe me it turned out awesome!
