Is this basically a newer version of Sands Alive?

I don't know what sands alive feels like. This feels like kenetic sand, of kenetic sand were made of baby powder.

Is this just for snowballs or can u make anything?

Hi, I ordered this product for my son thinking we could make snow. Its definitely firm enough to make snow balls, but it smells terrible. It has a really toxic smell and the consistency isn't great. I actually ended up sending it back. This is after I added some lavender essential oil thinking it would help the toxic smell, nope. I was worried for my son to play with it. I'd recommend looking for another artificial snow product.

Can it be used on a twig tree branches to imitate snow? Will it dry?

I don't think it will dry, so would get messed up if bumped. It may look clumpy as you would need to mold the floof around the twig. As long as you are ok with that it would make good snow.
