Fit is exactly how a kilt is supposed to fit, where it is supposed to be worn. The seller indicates that kilt size does not equal pants size--if you don't know your kilt size, figure out how to measure it. A kilt is worn at the waist, not the hips as modern men's pants are. Like most kilts, the size is adjustable to a degree, but it's not going to fit if you order the wrong size. It's made from a cotton canvas/work pant-type material. The hardware is acceptably durable, but obviously not meant for heavy-duty applications, which isn't a surprise given that the description lists it as casual and for daily wear. . .Considering similar kilts can easily cost twice as much as this, I'd say it's a good value.Time will tell, but I'm satisfied with the purchase.

Not bad!
First off, know your sizing before ordering and review how to size them. Kilts are always a bit hard to size properly, so here is what mine ended up as. I wear a normal 34 waist, and I ordered a 38 after reading reviews- it fits quite nicely even though I’d prefer it to be a bit tighter. The material is very basic and thin, but for the price it will hold up fine I am sure. Very comfortable, opens in the front as they should, nice color and I am quite happy with it. I probably would have ordered a 36 if I had a chance to try it on, but the 38 works great!

Great kilt, for the price!
Cons:runs a size too large (measures from tightest of two settings),denim is a bit thinner than expected (breezy-- great for summer, but not for colder months, thinner material makes ironing a bit trickier than thicker material),false rear pocket on right is pretty tackyPros:Durable stitching and grommets (on strap buckles),convenient pen pockets on right-hand pocket, apron rivets feel solid, drop length is accurately measured from top buckle to hem,two sets of waist buttons (in case of weight gain or large meals! X-D )I'm really happy with this purchase! It's a bit more comfy than I would've expected and the apron doesn't stray as much as a lesser kilt I'd purchased.I ordered a 40 waist, but it feels like a bit loose, so you may want to consider re-taking your measurments and ordering one size smaller. Durable hardware, great pockets, but I REALLY wish it didn't have that tacky, false pocket on the right buttcheek (listing pictures don't show it). :-/

Not designed for fat people, even the size 50
The pleats are stitched partway down from the band. If you are big enough that you have to wear this on your hips instead of at your bellybutton, then when you move around and sit, that stitching will tear out. There are no rivets in key places either. Also, it runs a little snug for the size listed, and there are only a couple snaps. It is good for spring and summer activities. It looks nice with the contrast stitching. The integrated utility pouches on each hip are well placed and good sized.Understand that this is a wrap skirt, and not exactly a kilt. That's kind of where the universe is with kilts right now.In public nobody seemed to care, and at a club, I got one of the first compliments I've gotten in a long time wearing a similar kilt. I'm in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Somewhat conservative, but also Texas has a huge Scottish population.

Size is TOTALLY OFF by 5-6in Don’t buy!!!
In NO world is this kilt a 32! It’s more like a 26 or actually smaller!!! Horrible! Now there is no time to get a new one for my event! Don’t waste your time with this company!! Also the material is cheap. Almost feels like plastic. Even if it fit it wouldn’t be comfortable!

Size up! I did three sizes up for it to fit
Very sturdy material, great wraparound for doing a lot at work. Very roomy pockets for a big phone, wallet, and more! Boyfriend approved!
