real life story very interesting he had a rough life but made it out and has been able to help so many others.

An amazing life story that is still continuing. I don’t want to give anything away. This book is well worth reading. If you aren’t a Danny Trejo fan you will be after reading this.

If you've seen a lot of movies, odds are you've seen Danny Trejo in something and this memoir introduces the reader to one of the most interesting and complex lives I've ever read about. Honest and blunt, Trejo is full of wonderful highs, brutal lows, incredible twists and turns and amusing tidibits throughout. A must read!

You can open the book anywhere and 2 pages are an adventure. Crazy life...in fact TREJO needs to be a movie. Damn.

He’s a very interesting person. He goes through the ups and downs of his life. The thing I like about this book is that you actually get a sense of who he is as a person. It sounds like he would be saying it to you. Sometimes autobiography’s can sound kinda stiff or removed but this one’s not like that.

His story is truly inspiring

Been wanting to buy this book for awhile , now that I have it omg I’m so glad that I did . I imagine his voice while I’m reading it & I catch myself laugh out loud . He’s even funnier on paper . It’s a very good book , talks about real life . A little to familiar to what my husband has been through .

He turned his life around and became the actor we know, but that’s not all! Dig deeper to discover his passion for helping addicts and troubled teens and a restauranteur!

He tells it from the heart, but neither glorifies nor trivialises his past life of addictions and crime.He owns up to being a complete arse to most of the women in his life.The way he turned his life around took real balls, and I have no doubt that it was very hard. Very hard. I have seen so many people who were addicted to alcohol and/or drugs, and very few of them have ever managed to break away from it.But he didn't just quit.He has put a lot back too, by helping others, as he did, and still does.His film career has made him world famous, but he is not a typical Hollywood 'A Lister' celebrity. He can say more with just a look than many can with a lot of words.I have seen some of his films like Desperado and Dusk till Dawn, and the Machete films and enjoyed them all.Well done Danny. Your family should be proud of you.
