Excellent resolution and a game changer for multitasking
The build quality is very good and the resolution is as advertised…full high definition. I like the fact that they give two options for connecting to my laptop. It is truly a game changer especially when doing spread sheets

Great product
Product arrived early and in good shape. The output is fantastic. This has made my work outside the office easier. Larger screen compared to laptop and it can also be used as double screen.

A nice little monitor replacement
I bought this for connecting to devices like servers and raspberry pi units when I need to set them up. It's really handy.

USB-C to USB-C not working for me (UPDATED!)
UPDATE:KYY service read my review and offered to help fix my problem. They first shipped a new USB-C cable to see if I had a defective cable. That didn't work. So they shipped another monitor (full product) for me to try, and that did not work either. However, my son came to visit for Christmas and both of my monitors worked for him. So, we swapped monitors and now we both have working solutions and we are both satisfied. He bought his monitor in October 2022 so maybe there was a small change in manufacturing that allowed his monitor to work with my LG Gram bought in March 2021, while his newer laptop works with all 3 monitors.Somewhat confusing but I am quite happy with KYY service rep Daisy who understood the issue and did everything possible to make it work. In the end we were lucky that my son had bought the same monitor and it worked for me.==========================Original review:I first bought the previous model, version K3. It didn't work from my LG Gram laptop USB-C port to the KYY USB-C port. So I returned it.Visting my son a few days later, he had purchased this model, the K3-1, and he showed that it worked USB-C to -C with his laptop. I tried it with my LG Gram laptop, and lo and behold, it worked! This is great, only one cable to deal with. I did some searching and someone at KYY explained somewhere that the USB-C ports are upgraded. Makes sense, that's why the K3-1 one works, and the K3 does not.So I ordered my own K3-1. Connected it via USB-C to my laptop, and it didn't work. I tried both ports, and different cables, and it just didn't work. I got power, but no video signal, unless I also connected the HDMI cables, which I don't want to do. I tried my phone, and it did work, but only with the lower USB-C port.Tried multiple times, being very certain to plug it in all the way, and just couldn't get it to work, even though this same model laptop that my son had worked fine for me. It must be that the cable provided or the KYY port is just enough out of spec to keep it from working, because nothing changed with my laptop. Why not just use the HDMI cable for video? I just didn't want to bother with two cables. A little too much work to connect when I want second display, and having two cables means it is more prone to bumping and making the display fall over in the somewhat flimsy holder. So, this one gets returned too. I really wanted this to work. I suppose I can try again and see if I get one with a better usb port like my son has, but I think I'm done.

Awesome screen
If you need an external second monitor this is a great one to get. The size is wonderful as a second screen and gives the capability to go between you computer screen and this screen. Really love my screen. I have used it on the road when I knew I was going to need the second screen.

Cables and Power Matter (Read the Manual)
I read most of the reviews for this device and experienced many of the same issues connecting. Now I only hope the monitor lasts longer than some reviews have suggested. It works great if you now how to use it and I would first use the cables supplied with the device to be sure. Couple of important points:How to resolve issues:- Issue number 1 – Receive “No Signal” then goes to “Power Saving” – This is because USB C cable MUST SUPPORT VIDEO. I have many high-end USB C cables that I purchased for high-speed data transfer and super-fast charging. To my dismay, none of them worked with the display and for good reason. They were designed for high-speed data transfer and fast charging, NOT VIDEO OUTPUT MONITOR.Result: The supplied cable works I just ordered another USBC cable that supports video output, so I’ll confirm it also works once it arrives.- Issue number 2 – No Samsung Dex Support (see answer above). Cable must support Video.- Issue number 3 using external power with display. Use the low end 5V 2.4 A Power Adapter and USB A to USB C Cable. I have high end chargers (10W – 240W) which are apparently too much for the display and don’t adjust downward accordingly.- Issue # 4 – How to use with USB-C HUB and be able to charge Phone or Laptop at same time (especially when device only has one USB-C input like your phone). Here’s where it gets fun (and it works).o Use the HDMI port on the Display and plug into the HDMI port on Hub or Laptop.o Must now power display using USB-C port and low-end adapter (like those for FireTV, Roku, etc.).o Plug all other accessories into the Hub (Mouse, Keyboard, data, RJ45 for Network, etc.).o Plugging the HUBS USB C into a power supply will add the ability to charge phone or laptops with only 1 USB C. (This can be a high-end charger for Phones and Laptops).- Note the displays USB C ports cannot be used with the HUB or any other accessories directly. According to the manual, when using HDMI, you must also use one of the USBC ports on the display for power (which I learned should only be low end).Good luck everyone. Now that I ironed out all the kinks, I ordered a second display the newer KS3-2.
