Solar Panel (Designed for BC1C / BC1 Battery Camera)

I bought this to charge an outdoor remote EZVIZ battery camera in my garden. It wasn't brand new - I believe it was maybe a customer return. It works well and looked as good as new. It was also a bargain price. My camera battery never dies!

Nice and easy to install..plug in and off you go..no need to change any settings in the app or anything. Only issue for me is the cable from the solar panel is really long. Ideal if you are not mounting this next to the camera but if you are you'll need to fine any to keep that extra cable tidy.

I've had this plugged into my outdoor security camera that charges via micro USB for a couple of weeks now. Yes, I bought the version of the solar panel with a micro USB lead. Even on the sunniest days when the panel is bathing in sunlight and facing directly at the sun, the camera is seemingly unaware of the panel, and the charge level of my camera's battery drops, just like it would if not receiving any charge, and this in late May, when the days are long. These things should be universal (that's the 'U' in USB), but not in this case, or I've received a dead unit, but lots of people seem to have the same issue. Buy cheap, buy twice...

Really happy with this solar panel. I was sceptical because of some bad reviews but glad I took the gamble. It's not sunny yet but it's still charging my EZVIZ camera. It even came with an adapter for the Type C end so I could plug it into the camera which has a Micro USB port securely. I have just ordered another one for my other camera. I recommend this product.

You can position the camera in a corner and have the solar panel a few meters on the other side of the house if you don't like to show your solar panel—there are plenty of cables to do that. Of course, you must tidy and neatly secure the cable. Or have it closer to the camera. Opt to you. I have done some in some way and some the other way around. However, this product will save you a considerable amount of time. It is worth it. Otherwise, you will be up and down the ladders every time the camera gets lower in a battery. Considering our bad weather, all my cameras are usually at 99 or 100%. Without the solar panel, you can make them last half a year if you use a lower resolution and do not upload or download much. I think they are worth the price. Excellent panels can be easily adjusted and assembled. However, I do not recommend this job if you are not confident working on high ladders and with drilling tools. You need to drill 3 holes, but it comes with a sticker so you know where to drill.

Bought this as was on special offer. I wondered why. It's not the best solar panel I've ever bought. It's designed percifcally for EZVIZ battery operated security cameras. Which is a big let down considerably. The USB won't fit the Euly battery security cameras one because the length of the USB B is considerably smaller than your normal USB B input. Plus the solar panel wattage doesn't produce enough power output through the 4 metres of cable supplied. Otherwise it should be fine for lower output wattage EZVIZ Batteries.
