I LOVE THAT THE PLUG SWIVELS SO IT DOESNT CAUSE TANGLING.REMINDS ME OF A HIGHER END CURLER BUT ON A BUDGET .U WONT REGRET TO BUY🥰🥰🥰

I have only had the iron a short time. I have short hair and it is working as described.

I bought this because I needed a good curling iron that can curl my long and thick hair. I’m happy to report I achieved beach wave results with this product!Super easy to use - plug in and adjust temperature suitable for your hair by twisting the base. The desired temperature is reached when it stops flashing. Highly recommended!

I really liked this curling iron at first-- the twist mechanism to select a temperature eliminates the issue I had with other irons where I'd be pressing the temperature select button accidentally because of where it was located on the handle. It heats up pretty quickly and provides good, smooth, curling action. What happened by the 5th month was that the writing on the handle with the product name and all the temperature markings wore off. Better memorize what the temperatures are, because after a few months they're going to wear away! Also at that time it started occasionally fritzing out-- I would twist to the desired notch, it would blink as it heated up, and then all 5 temperature lights would start blinking and it would stop heating. I'd have to twist it off, twist it back on again and sometimes that would fix it, sometimes it would heat up and then all the lights would blink once again. I'm still able to use it but it's very frustrating having a 50/50 chance that it will work without having to repeatedly power off and try again. One more important observation about the auto shutoff: I have a wall-mounted, wood hair tool holder in my bathroom where I keep my hairdryer, flat iron, and curling iron. One day I allowed this iron to shut off automatically and when it was cool I placed it in its slot. Later in the day I went in the bathroom and noticed that the temperature light was on-- it had heated back up, maybe because of the vertical position?? So overall it's good when it works, but I know I'll need to look for a more reliable iron soon.

I think this is a great curling iron especially for someone who wants just quick effortless looking curls without breaking the bank.I am not great at doing hair so I liked how easy it was to use with small things like the swivel cord and easy hold grip.It’s super convenient, love it

This is a review of the RIWA Curling Iron 1 1/4 inch Infrared Curling Wand Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Barrel.There are lots of good things to say about this 1 1/4 inch curling iron. I have long, thick, curly hair; I like to blow it dry straight and then make beach curls. This iron is a good size for that.It is very easy to use and has a variety of temperature settings which is always good. One of my favorite parts of the curling iron is that it has a swivel cord at the base - it really makes it easier to use.I also like that you turn the curling iron on by twisting the base, which also sets the temperature you want. It heats up quickly and if you chose, you can press a button to turn on its negative iron infrared feature. Note that I am hardly an expert in this and am not sure whether this helps or hurts or how it works at all. Just know it’s simple enough to turn on if you want.The iron goes off after 60 minutes which is good. Less would be preferable for me but it’s fine.All in all, it’s a very good curling iron and I would recommend it.

I liked everything about this curling iron, it heats up very fast, very easy to use and was the size I was looking for.
