Baxton Studio Hartman Mid-Century Modern Walnut Brown Finished Wood 3-Drawer Storage Chest

I read several reviews before buying and was only slightly hopeful that it would be more than wood printed particle board bc so many people said it was wood. For the record, it’s not real wood. Really, for the price I would have been surprised if it were. Yes you have to put it together. If you cannot follow instructions you may have a hard time. I put two together in one evening after work. There were a few parts in the instructions that made me have to think a bit and one of the knobs was threaded funny. So I had to go get a thicker screw to get it put on. Other than that it was not too difficult. They are sturdy and look nice in my guest room.

This is a pain to assemble and mine came withs scratches. I bought the warranty and sent in pictures of it but they wouldn’t do anything. Color is pretty dark. Lots of parts for assembly.

The item had scratches all over it and damaged in multiple places all while inside the packaging. While the veneer is ok, it’s applied poorly and easily chips off. The instructions are borderline unreadable and basically used a lifetime of assembling cheap furniture knowledge as our guide. We got a refund, don’t bother buying. Two stars because the veneer is ok and it does technically function as a dresser

The engineered wood particle board is very bad quality and breaks of easily . You have to super careful while assembly.In compliment to the problem the assembly instructions are poor and tedious . I took 2 plus hours for this simple dresser.Avoid it

BE PREPARED. I was so disappointed and surprised to receive 2 heavy boxes with all the parts inside - nothing was preassembled at all. I have successfully ordered furniture from Amazon many times and typically, assembly is limited to legs and handles - nothing major. This was way more than I could handle on my own. And the kicker??? Upon my request for a return, they slapped me with a $143.00 return fee!!!!

Very hard to put together. They are pressed board. Liked the design and look.Very unique. Working on the second.They're beautiful. I think the second will be easier. Absolutely love these! I got the jest of putting them together. All done
