Do I need to purchase a yellow cable also to use as a feeder to the hub?

Yes you will need ethernet cables (yellow ends) to go from each of the devices to the expansion box

If I have 2 lowrance elite FS 9’s, an active target and a ghost trolling motor, will I need this to have it all on the same network?

Yes…connect with ethernet and NMEA cables

Will this give us the ability to connect and use echo on our b&g zeus 2 system?

I’m not sure. But it aloud me to hook 4 Lowrance systems 1 HDS 7- 1 HDS 8 And 2 HDS 9s together and works well . Hope that helps
