Q: Are they each in their own box?

No. They come together wrapped in tissue paper in one tall box.

Q: Does buying the four in the set mean they do not come with their accessoriessuch as maleficents staff?

When you buy the four pack they don’t come with as much accessories just the shoes and I think maleficent came with the staff I don’t remember because I returned it because it was such garbage

Q: Why does Ursula not have the proper body proportions?

The reason is actually articulation. Because the bodies are hard vinyl & plastic and not soft human flesh it is expected for dolls to be quite thin and have that triangle barbie torso. In order to give Ursula a plumper shape and articulate her arms she would have had weird divots under the arm or linebacker shoulders. Her frame would have been wait too big next to the vintage 1950's waifish figures of the others with their strangely bony faces. If you buy her I would look for a used mimi bobeck doll and replace her body, but the articulation is very minimal. Also, fatphobia is why.

Q: Do the costumes fit articulated barbie dolls?

No. These dolls are made by Hasbro, not Mattel (the company that makes Barbie). Hasbro's dolls have different body types than Barbie and Hasbro doll clothes will NOT fit Barbie.
