Great and works well! Cold rainy surf fishing and sometimes these are great for this scenario's, tho for the price I wasn’t expecting zip ties, so I was very happy when receiving the item! Works well! Even caught a fish with it on

When you step up to hefty lures of 3/4 ounce and up, and want to blast it over the surf as far as you possibly can to reach a school of panicing bait fish getting pounded by large snook, redfish, blues and many other predatory fish, you will appreciate this gadget. Normally I use electrical tape on my casting line finger to prevent cuts from fabric based lines but the FOIBURELY Cannon Surf Fishing Trigger will prevent this hazard. This is not for light lures being tossed under docks, this is for big lures cast with force. Get your timing right and watch the lure fly as if shot from a cannon far out into the surf. Buy this thing.

Get yourself some hockey tape or something similar,these add an unnecessary step to your casting especially when you need to get a cast off quickly to breaking fish.At night and low light finding the damn thing is a chore,let alone threading thin braid unto it.Also loose line get easily caught on it aborting the cast.Wrap your finger and keep tape handy when it frays which will be awhile.

Easy to install and works

So this thing is pretty cool. It actually works. However if you're looking to launch plugs a mile this will only help if you could do it before you get this thing. It saves your finger from the braid though. But this thing isnt going to make you suddenly cast a mile.Also i wouldn't bother using this unless you have a larger setup
