Traxxas 6893X Blue-Anodized Aluminum Bearing Adapter (with bearing)

Anyone with a traxxas slash 4x4 should switch to this setup. It replaces the plastic cone that runs against the bearing for the slipper clutch. If you're tired of readjusting the cone is because the plastic ones get worn and get pushed into the bearing on the slipper clutch. Once this is installed no more readjustment your takeoffs are more consistent and you just install it and just have fun.

This is definitely a worthwhile upgrade!

Definitely needed if running a 4x4 slash though i didnt but fried the plastic one in 1 week twice!! Then fried the bearing! Bought this and fit great as should its from traxxas and hopefully holds up better!!

Very good over the plastic stock adapter but overtime it was still get damaged, but definitely not as fast as the plastic I’ve used for over a year snd barely gave up

The plastic version the rc car came with melted down and ruined the bearing it rides on pretty quickly.. This aluminum one is able take the heat and Pressure it's subjected too! This is The first and most important upgrade that should be done the moment the car comes out of it's box!

Last for hours on a full charge. It is advertised at 10 watts and the owner manual says 6 watts. The strap does not fit around my fat hands (no real surprise) It still has plenty of power and is strong enough for use in the shower. I would buy a again! Two thumbs up!

See pics for comparison and exploded slipper clutch view. I did this to my slipper clutch on my 3500 brushless modified Stampede 4x4. Original is plastic and weak. This really doesnt weigh any more to speak of but is a much better part. I mention wright because the lighter your rotating assembly, the less wasted power, you can take it from there. I did take the opportunity to install a few more of my Fast Eddy ceramic bearings while i was in there. Also, highly recommended. I just saved all me new besrings and take-offs for "emergency" scenarios. Conical end of thrust bearing adapter fits perfectly on the inner besring race and will not flatten out under the spring load, which would ultimatley eat the bearing. Good part, increase reliability for a few bucks.
