Love these things
I love these hidden trim tabs. They do tend to create a little bit of lift, but not enough to cause problems or be unsightly.There are still some areas where this won't work, but the majority of my Hardie trim has no nail heads exposed so no penetration of the factory paint and no touch up required.There were some areas this wouldn't work, and some stainless pin nails were applied to pull the inside in on the longer boards, but this was very minimal and not a concern.Yes, these are pricey, and I'm hoping the price point drops as they become more common, but for the looks and the increased protection of my house is worth that cost.

Not much to say. Probably overpriced? Try your local metal supplier and see about having a sheet cut up for you. Might be cheaper.
