AMC 8 preparation book

This is an excellent book with original problem set and clear solutions. Since it's a math competition book, I was not bothered by the English grammar errors some other reviewers pointed out - maybe it's just me but I bought this book for my son to learn creative math, not English :-). My son has taken classes at Art of Problem Solving and I found this book to be an excellent addition to what he's learning at AoPS.

This book was highly recommended by my son’s Math tutor. My son is preparing for AMC and has found this book very resourceful. The solutions are explained clearly, great addition to practice tests. Overall, a very useful book for the students who are preparing for AMC.

RSM is a big organization. I don't understand why nobody has proofread this book.This is a shame because it could have been an amazing book.The concepts for the problems are original, the problems are fun, but the authors are not native speakers. There are many instances when the problems are not worded correctly. There are mistakes in the solutions too. As a teacher I can't use this book with my class unless I read and check every problem beforehand, which takes too much time. As is it's too frustrating for the students and is not worth it.I do not recommend this book and will return it.

Helpful study book for students preparing for the AMC competitions, as well as for AMC math instructors. Contains lots of practice problems with solutions as well as summaries of some of the important mathematical concepts that could be helpful while approaching various types of AMC problems.

I'm not even halfway through the book with my younger brother yet, and I've seem at least 5 or 6 grammatical errors, as well as errors in the answer key such as variables changing in the middle of a problem. I cannot recommend this book to any other users.

This book provides outstanding guidance! Students preparing for AMC8 should find it most useful. I highly recommend it!
