I bought mine because I'm getting over leukaemia and I'm gardening slot, I'm finding that my shins were really sore from little knocks here and there, so I bought these and they did really well I have large lower legs so bought the largest, they slipped on and I didn't have to adjust them for the 12 hrs I spent in the garden, there's a nice grip to your leg but it just makes you feel protected and nothing dug in causing any pain.
