Venum Giant 3.0 Boxing Gloves - Nappa Leather

I've been using these for over a year now for on average three classes a week. During pad work I go pretty hard with these gloves. These still look like new. The velcro is still going strong, the padding still feels solid, no damage to the surface - these are so much better than the Hayabusa I was gifted before (cost more, lasted 2-3 months and hurt to wear). I do wear wraps inside these gloves to protect against odor and to fill the hand box, which is quite large. I keep charcoal odor absorbers inside them and hang them after every class open for air to circulate. I love these and will definitely try to order again when they wear out...hopefully a long time from now.

The knuckle padding and wrist support on this 12oz (actual weight 11.4oz) is excellent. Actually more comfortable on knuckle and wrist with the 120lb banana bag than my 10 oz winning lace ups and 12 oz Top Kings. I'm sure 80-100lb would be a dream. 14 oz would be preferred for the 120 lb banana bag but I actually bought these strictly for drills in Muay Thai due to the abundant amount of padding on the palm and wrist areas to block kicks and to use a mitts. They are also pretty soft for your partner even though they are only 12oz gloves. Drills are not like sparring we are only catching punches and kicks with our gloves so no need for anything heavier. The only slightly uncomfortable thing is that the wrist area is tight making it slightly hard to get your hand in with wraps , kinda like using lace ups and the extra padding on the palm makes it feel like your wraps are bunched up in that area. But its the trade of I'm willing to put up with due to the excellent support and cushioning.

First off, the quality of these gloves is outstanding. The stitching is perfect, and the leather feels very nice, you can tell they took pride in the craftsmanship of this glove. The glove is excellent for any type of striking, but I love the extra padding in the palm and down the wrist, as well as the back of the wrist, as it makes these very well suited for muay thai. They do fit a bit snug, which for me is a plus. Everyone has different glove preferences so keep that in mind if you do get these, but I LOVE THEM!

I did a little research before I decided to purchase these glove. Consider RDX ($37+ to $179+) and Cleto Reyes ($140+ to 300+). I settle on this particular glove becuase of the napa leather and the air vents. Also, most of the reviews rated them well on comfort and durability. I could not be happier with the Venum brand. I am a 62 year old male and try to incorporate the heavy bag in my routine for cardio vascular health and other artirial health issues, when my shoulder permits. The glove are will made very comfortable with mitts. 12 oz are nice and light, partcularly for a person like me.

I bought these because I broke a bone in my hand hitting the bag with basic Everlasts. These fit fantastically and are super comfortable; the padding is better and they're less bulky. My fav feature is that I get good wrist support even when they're not cinched as tight as they can be; which is important for me when sparring turns into bjj- they're not too difficult to quickly shake off. Ventilation is adequate- I use charcoal paks to dry them out after use. I'm learning with boxing/mma gear that the old adage is true: when you pay for quality, you only cry once.

Use these clothes for training I always like leather better than any of this synthetic BS sits out there easy to clean durable and better quality my last pair of gloves that fell apart on the inside these black ones are much better than the red and black ones that I had previously holding up really well at six .

Good glove but the stitching inside already came off after 3 uses

Los adquirí en el tamaño de 14 onzas y me costaron unos 74 euros. Es un buen precio para un guante de piel. Calidad: Aunque hace poco que los tengo y no puedo opinar sobra durabilidad, he de decir que me parecen de buena calidad y construcción. Al principio emanan un recomfortante aroma a piel. Ahh... Comodidad: El caso es que yo tengo unas manos muy pequeñas para un hombre y me van bastante justos. De momento, la mano derecha especialmente, tiende a dolerme un poco cuando estoy usándolo durante un tiempo. No los recomiendo por tanto a personas con las manos grandes o, como mínimo, recomendaría en ese caso adquirir los de 16 onzas, que puede que sean un poco más grandes (o no, no lo sé). ACTUALIZACIÓN: después de unos meses de uso suave, el dolor al usarlo ha desaparecido. Acolchado: El acolchado es adecuado para un guante de este tamaño. He de recordar que este es un guante de Thai y por tanto tiene acolchado en zonas (por ejemplo la palma) que no sería necesario para el boxeo. Ajuste: No tengo ningún problema pero el sistema de ajuste de la muñeca es muy sencillo. Dado que la muñeca es bastante ancha a mí personalmente me cuesta ajustarmelos bien. Como ya he dicho tampoco es un gran problema pero creo que podría usar un sistema de ajuste menos primitivo. La ventaja es que el sistema es resistente. ACTUALIZACIÓN: Después de un uso ligero durante más de un año, el guante sigue básicamente como nuevo. Hay arañazos en el logo pero sólo eso. La piel está perfectamente conservada y sin darles mantenimiento. Visto lo visto, le subo la nota a 5 estrellas. Como hace años que lo compré, obviamente no puedo garantizar que no haya cambiado la calidad.

Muy buenos guantes, cumplen a la perfección con su descripción, muy buen soporte en las muñecas y su espuma de 4 densidades lo hace Perfecto para cualquier trabajo, las manos están protegidas en todo momento y visualmente lucen geniales

Fantastic gloves. They are super comfy and cushion remarkably the impact of your punches. They seemed heavy at first (16 oz) for a girl of 5.7 feet, but I got used to them very fast, and now I think they are light and well built. They look gorgeous and smell good of leather and let breathe your fists. I use them 3/4 days a week on heavy bags and mitts and they last well. They are terrific. Go for it!
