These are perfect on our tables with a set of numbers that I bought as well They don’t make The number stand too tall on the table, where then the others at the table can’t see over it. I like that they are short.

They are very solid and sturdy - just want I wanted

Used these to hold 10 oversized playing cards, and they were fantastic. Common sense, if you put large cards in them outside, wind will blow it over... that is common physics. However I put them to the test with bulky oversized items indoors and they are great.

I purchased these to use in my salon to hold price and product info for our retail area. They have a great transitional design that isn't too modern or too traditional. Several people mentioned they had a nice weight to them, which lead me to think they would be much heavier. I don't think they are too light for indoors, but could see how they could get blown over by a good gust of wind if used outside and the cards inserted were fairly large. They don't feel plastic-y or anything, just not like heriloom quality brass. They definitely don't look cheap. I'm really happy with them for the use I intended them for, and think they would also be perfect on a dining table for name tags or a buffet table for menu descriptions. For the price, they are a great value!
