Thrice as nice.
I read the other reviews of this triple magazine pouch and bought it anyway. OK, so I have a double pouch just like it for my EAA Witness, and love it. I knew I wasn't taking much of a chance. Well, I love this one too. I use Chip McCormick 10 round extended magazines, so grabbing one is not a problem. Half of the mag is exposed. I am not just trying to pull it out with my fingernails. I can get a good hold on each magazine. I haven't played with the tension screws yet, but they are there if I find I need to adjust something. Right now, the slot nearest my right hand is marginally looser than the other two slots. I may, or may not adjust them. It depends on how I feel after a few trips to the range. All three slots are perfectly servicable as they came. As with anything new, there is a period of getting used to them. Practice will make me better, though not perfect. The obvious advantage here is the third slot for the additional magazine. Three instead of two. That really doesn't tell the whole story though. With my 10mm Witness, I am carrying 15 round magazines. One in the weapon and two in the pouch. That is 45 rounds plus one in the chamber makes 46 total. With my 1911, as I said before, I am carrying 10 round magazines. One in the weapon and now three in the pouch. That is 40 rounds plus one in the chamber makes 41 total. Let me put that into perspective. When I started out in law enforcement, I carried a .357 magnum with 6 rounds in the weapon and 12 rounds in loops. Look it up youngsters. 46 rounds as opposed to 41 rounds. All of the sudden, the 1911 is in the same ball park as the high capacity wondernines and glockentickers. Unless the folks using those weapons get a triple pouch too. 60 or more rounds on my duty rig. Hmmm. Sounds heavy to me. So far, my double has held up for about 3 years without falling to pieces, jamming my weapon, rotting my teeth, or giving me a social disease. I am going to assume that if I die an inglorious death on the pavement, it will be from being an old fat man - not because I got a little bit of dirt on my bullets. Perfect after easy fix.
As others have stated the middle slot was super tight but I found an easy fix. Purchased mainly for Sig p226 mags. In order to fix issue all I did was force a slightly larger magazine in it (HK 40 usp) and stuck it on the heater. After ten minutes I took it off to cool with mag still in it. After cooling the middle slot was a bit looser than the outsides. so I squeezed it by hand and put it back on the heater for ten more minutes and then let cool again. Now all three slots have same mag tension. Thought I should share so others don't go overboard with magnetic strips and the like. Might be enough to just temporarily over tighten tension screws enough to force a single mag of intended type in center slot and do the heat cool process then re adjust screws. Fits great and feels good on my belt.

Good kit - Great Price
Mags fit nice and secure. This 3 mag holster is a little wider than a standard 2 mag holster which is probably not so good for people with a waist band under 32 inches due to the material does not bend that much to fit the curve of the body. I found the slots cut on the backside are a tight fit which is great for a duty belt where you will not be removing it much and want it to stay in place however for an everyday carry on your normal trouser belt you may get annoyed with fighting the belt through the cut-out and then back through the trouser loops. The height that it holds the mags seem to be just about perfect for indexing the magazines. I would definately recommend this for a duty belt set-up but probably not so much for everyday carry and or conceilment.

Quality for Law Enforcement
I carry a Springfield XD Tac in .40 Cal, and anyone who knows about this gun knows that it only holds 12 rounds in each magazine, this Mag Holster carries 3 mags which is very nice, my only thing about it is that the tightening screws are in between the middle Mag Slot and the outside Mag slots and if you tighten them, the middle Mag slot will be tighter than the outer Mag slots, so your mags in the outer Slots will not be in as tight as the middle magazine slot which when you tighten them to make the outer slots very secure to the magazine, the middle slot with a magazine in it will be so tight to remove, so you will need to work around it, this specific Mag Holster also holds mags for Glock 22 .40 cal and Glock 17 in 9mm, and any gun with similar style magazine width. I use a Nylon belt so this Black Plastic look works well with my belt, they do make them in a Leather look for all departments that require the use of a Leather Duty Belt. I run it on the front to the left of my Buckle.

Decent Product
Easy access to mags, pros and cons to that. But in the heat of the moment I prefer to have easy access to a magazine when I really need it. Two mags are good, three are better. Doesn't take up that much room on a duty belt. Quality is good. Retention isn't bad, middle magazine can be loose while the outer mags are a bit tight fitting, but that is this products only downfall. The exterior material will wear as you would expect over time but nothing to keep you from purchasing the item.

Magazine pouch seems very durable. Mags fit in perfect. I like the fact that you can adjust it to how you want your magazines to fit. As lose or as tight as you prefer.

Fits my clips and hold them very well. I can load one set on each side of me and a set to the rear and they hold well while running around and stay in the holster. Very well positioned to access next clip when time to change mags. Just reach down and grab.

i had used this on my regular belt (and a kydex holster) when i first started it served me very well - it was all simple having 3 mags close by is ideal if you are not going to do a full rig or battle belt this is an excellent/best choice for mag holder that would work on any regular belt etc
