Seems to be holding really well so far
Mine kind of looked like a return or maybe the paint is just not going to last, but it is working well for me. I have a dog that is 70lbs and loves to challenge the tie out when the cats come around. I put her on a long bungy type lead and this stake and it's been going well.

It keeps a 70 lb Shepard in our yard
I have a 70 pound Dutch shepherd who is three years old and is all muscle. She is very strong. My one concern was finding one that wouldn’t pull out of the ground. The one she had previously got bend and twisted and I didn’t trust it to stay in the ground . This one definitely has stayed in the ground and she has yanked on it many times and it doesn’t/hadn’t budged. I had some difficulties getting it all the way in as the dirt was dry. I got a really long handle screwdriver and then it was easier to twist. It has been in the ground for several months through drought and then really a wet month. I would buy this one again if I needed a second one

It works!
We have both dogs on one stake; 100 and 55 lbs. They pull hard and it barely moves! We live in the Midwest and the ground is VERY hard here right now. I wouldn't trust it as much in sandy or loose soil.

Stake your dogs anywhere
This is a great sturdy product that allows us to take our dogs anywhere we will be outside. We have 2 135 lb dogs and need something that is strong! This can be screwed into the ground anywhere and allows us to go to the park, camping or even at home if you don't have a fenced in yard and would like to spend sometime outside with your pups. This way we could barbecue, garden, or have friends over and not have to worry about who is holding a leash. Easy to use and useful everywhere.

Stake serves its purpose!
I’ve had this for about 2 weeks now and my dog hasn’t pulled it out the ground or even made it budge. Her previous one (the green one) she could jerk it out of the ground easily. My dogs are only outside on their leads for a little bit so this stake is perfect.

Solidly in place, good luck getting it out
The other tie outs get tangled and rusts. This one swivels easily and is heavily coated. I have small dogs and never have to worry about them getting wrapped or tangled. It could handle any size dog easily. I would suggest different lengths for different dogs sizes to make it more portable for smaller dogs. I was hoping to take on vacation for a tie out but it's so deep in the ground it takes a lot of effort.

SUPER HARD TO PUT IN THE GROUND
If you have a small dog that doesn't pull too much, great! If the dog pulls, small or not, the thing is going to work itself out of the ground. Impossible to screw into the ground completely, as well. Really needs a handle. Also the top ring doesn't rotate, so the tie our cord/rope gets tangled, thus shortened, on top. However, the metal is sturdy, I don't think it would ever bend.

This doesn’t budge. It’s been in the ground (sandy soil) now for several years. 25 pound terrier that has pulled out other styles.

This thing is pretty tough and sturdy and totally screwed into the ground. The animal has no escape it’s perfect.
