LOVE LOVE LOVE this trainset. It took me about an hour to put together. It was my son’s Santa gift and me and my oldest sat and played with it a bit before the rest of the kids woke up. It’s a good size, well worth the money. & it’s great because you don’t have to constantly reassemble it. It’s super fun for all ages of kids & can be stored away in a closet. It is pretty durable however a giant mirror fell on ours & broke one of the plastic clips so we will have to glue it back. I hope it works because my son loves this toy. He has autism and can be pretty rough on toys but this has held up pretty well.

*AUTISM MOM REVIEW* This track set is incredible and began my son’s now much larger collection of Thomas trains and tracks. He has always loved the show and we got him this set for his 3rd birthday. He is autistic and obsessed with trains. He plays with this set for HOURS. If you’re worried about your child’s motor skills, don’t be. The bridge clicks perfectly into place no matter how crazily you move it from one side to the other so there’s no need for them to line up the tracks (I was worried about this when I ordered). The only time anything needs lined up is when you set the train onto the tracks obviously, but that only took him a couple times to practice. It is incredible for autistic kids as they can repeat the same pattern of tasks over and over. Press the stop sign, move the bridge, press the stop sign, watch the train go down and then back up. They can control every part of it and predict everything that’s going to happen. If you’re worried about the track stability, I wouldn’t worry too much about that either. So far our tracks have never even disconnected from each other, and I’ve moved it multiple times and my son is NOT gentle with it by any means. The Thomas train that comes with it is plastic and motorized and can go up the track on his own. The Percy train is just a push-along die-cast train, so he can’t go up but my son loves putting him at the top and sending him down because he zooms pretty fast since it’s metal and heavier. He actually went through a phase where he was a bit overstimulated by the motorized trains, during which time we collected a few of the die cast ones, and he still played with those just as much on the tracks, pushing them along. If your child also likes the other characters/other construction vehicles, there’s also cranes at the top, and it comes with cargo boxes, as well as little spots for them to sit at both the top and bottom of the tracks. So you can add them into the car at the bottom of the track and unload them at the top with the crane. There’s also chutes to drop the cargo back down to the bottom! The only downside to this track set for us is the fact that the bridge is fairly short. This means that a lot of the trains that you can collect cannot fit on the bridge with all of their cars. Usually it’s fine with just 1 train and 1 car on the back, however some of the trains come with 2 cars attached to the back and can’t make it across the bridge without losing a piece. So any trains that come with 3 pieces, we have to remove one before using it on this track set. That’s a bit upsetting for my son because he likes things to be exactly how they’re “supposed” to be, so he wants to leave the original cars on the trains.

Impressive, made decent for todays toys, lots of fun, works good to zip the trains around has some additional fun parts!

I LOVE it! My 20 months old loves it as well! I might need to buy more trains. It’s as big as expected. Super easy to assemble. No small pieces. Nice set

4 year old grandson maintains this is his favorite Christmas gift. Creatively plays with it throughout each day. Will tell stories as he is moving all sizes of trains on it. Do know that only the Thomas trains fit and slide on the tracks. Assembly wasn’t hard. Everything is functional. Does require permanent floor space. Definitely would but again. Seems durable too. Fortunately the dogs just sniff it, no damage from pets or child. Grandchild enjoys demonstrating this set to all visitors.

Unbelievable! My grandson Loves it. Does so many things. Great great present

So I got this for my nephew. I did put it together so he can enjoy it as soon as he opens it. Build time was not bad it was about 30 minutes. Most of the pieces snapped together. There are some screws in some places. The reason for 4 stars was its a big piece but it only comes with Thomas the train that is motorized. I have ordered another motorized train to go with it which I think is needed to make the piece a little more fun. Also at the base there is the option to buy additional track to make different routes for the train to go. I have looked on amazon and have not located those that can be purchased. Over all I know he will enjoy it but it would have been nice if it came with more motorized trains. Also a link or a location where the additional track can be purchased. Just an FYI the piece is pretty solid, and can not be taken apart too easy so if you are purchasing this to hopefully put together, and take apart I don't know if this is the best option.Hope this helps

He had so much fun playing this set. He can go on and on without even feeling tired.
